Recently, this weekend, on Saturday, October 25, my best friend from childhood celebrated her birthday. We were born in 2000, and since then, many things have changed. Whether it's physical changes or growing up quickly from teenagers to 25-year-old adults. At this age, you're supposed to have everything figured out. I have a degree and a job in my field, although I want to work in a different area than healthcare to gain more experience. And yes, maybe I don't have a car or my own house yet, but I have my health, I guess. And yes, I haven't gotten married or had children yet because the time hasn't come, while I see many people having children and settling down. Others may not have finished their degrees yet; it's a never-ending journey, and we all move at different paces.
Being 25 is a big deal. My older brother's wife was 25 when she formalized her relationship with my older brother. Now I'm 25, and I feel the pressure. Maritza and I are old enough to decide what's right for us. That's why I want to share how wonderful our weekend was.

Ever since I finished college, and long before that, I wanted (with all my heart) to dive into a pool or beach. That's what I wanted, and I did it. This time, we went to a beach house in Sotillo, near Marigúitar, specifically to a beach called Tunantal.
It all started when Maritza's mom asked me to steal some plants to make a flower arrangement and asked me to help her decorate, so I earned the title of decorator for a themed party, which in this case was Aphrodite.
And yes, it wasn't in my plans to get up early to go and arrange things. We were there from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., waiting for them, and we were hungry. But hey, there was air conditioning, and the house is beautiful. It cost around $180 because in those towns in Marigúitar, people make a living renting out beach houses. It had been a long time since I had been in a beach house, and I felt like a millionaire for the first time, ha ha ha.

The beach house is beautiful; I love the greenery and the pool. The truth is that I didn't feel like swimming until around 4 p.m. because I was having one of those special days when you have stomach pains and you're in a bad mood. Still, I wanted to swim no matter what, whether it was in the pool or at a beach near the beach house where we were staying.

It was a day to share with my friends whom I have known for years and some whom I am just getting to know now. Some of them went to elementary and middle school with me, their lives are different from mine, and well, here I took super aesthetic photos that I used to take when I was a teenager, you know? Tumblr was my favorite blogging social network, and I always thought that a blogging social network would come along where you could earn rewards for sharing pretty photos, and here it is: Hive.
The good thing is that the site had swings, and I became a little girl again.

Well, I liked these photos and wanted to share them with you. Soon you'll see a second part about the beach near the beach house, so stay tuned. I hope you liked them. See you soon!
