I would like to share this with you, a detail that came out of my mom's sewing box. My mother went on a trip to visit my sister who lives in another state and has left me with the sewing work, a lot of things that were cut for my daughter. These are the pieces I had on hand: a skirt that belonged to a dress whose tulle was torn, the chest of the dress cut from cotton with linen, and a cover of what appears to be organza with frosted decoration.
Empecé el trabajo de hilvanado que para mi es una ayuda porque la tela de organza es bastante difícil de mantener firme.
I started the basting work which for me is a help because the organza fabric is quite difficult to hold firm.

Con mucho cuidado empece a hacer la costura con la maquina de coser cuidando de no salirme del muy estrecho bordillo. De esta manera sacando todos los hilos negros sobrantes del trabajo de hilvanado quedó lista la pieza del pecho.
Very carefully I began to make the seam with the sewing machine taking care not to get out of the very narrow curb. In this way, removing all the black threads left over from the basting work, the chest piece was ready.

Así mismo como hilvanamos antes, también lo hacemos para fijar la falda del vestido, Cosemos con la máquina y nos deshacemos del hilo negro.
Just as we basted before, we also do it to fix the skirt of the dress. We sew with the machine and get rid of the black thread.

Así, después de ponerle dos botones queda listo el vestido que quedó muy justo a esta modelo, quizá tenga que regalarlo dentro de un mes pero por lo menos son unos puntos extra en mi barra de experiencias.
Para mi es siempre un gusto hermoso poder compartir algunos de mis proyectos entre personas que saben mucho mas que yo y no solo eso, sino poder recibir un par de consejos
edificantes.
