A big hug to all of you, my Hive friends, whom I esteem so much, and of course to all my Rising Star friends. I love this community, and every chance I get, I bring you a hand-drawn illustration based on one of the game's fantastic decks. This time, I drew some sticks called Cajon Brushes. You can identify them in the game with the number i311.
These sticks have a rope-like shape at the tip and a rigid handle at the back. The rope-like part is actually strands of fiber that form a kind of brush. As the name suggests, they are used on a cajon, on its surface. The cajon instrument is played with the hands, but when you want a softer sound, you can use one of these sticks or brushes.
In my research on this cajon accessory, I discovered that brushes can be made of different materials, for example, plastic fiber like the one used in the deck, or pressed fabric. Whatever the goal is, the sound should be softer than that produced by the hands.

I've also learned that some cajons are better suited to using these types of accessories than others. For example, with more sensitive surfaces or perhaps more suitable than regular wood. As you can see in the images above, I showed you how I traced the name of the drumsticks and their number identification. Then I boxed them and around them, I made the base of the deck. And finally, I made the drumsticks or brushes.
With my colored pencil, I then began coloring each area of the base and finally the drumsticks.

With my black marker, I highlighted every edge and contour of the base and the brushes. This made it look smooth. If I didn't do this, you'd just see a thick, blended color. That's why it's always necessary to do this. It's a tip I give you if you want to make your own drawings. Highlighting is very important.

The materials used were the usual ones, such as a sheet of paper you draw on, my trusty ruler, my colored pencils, which are a must, and the marker. I'll show you the completed drawing now, along with these materials. Hugs.
