Greetings, friends of Hive and this wonderful community. I want to send you all a big hug. I wanted to let you know that today I drew the Hard Harp case. This is a sleeve found in the i335 deck. With this new sleeve, I've now drawn all the sleeves found in the common decks of the game. And that makes me very happy. I hope that very soon I can hand-draw the others found in the rare, epic, and legendary decks. It will be a real pleasure.

Well, this harp case is very beautiful and could even be considered minimalist. It's shaped like a harp, as you'd expect. The dimensions of this case aren't specified in the deck, but just by looking at it, I think it must be quite large, otherwise it wouldn't have those bearings on the bottom. It's completely gray with a rather understated tone. I find it elegant. Some of you might be wondering why you'd need something like this to store a harp.
Well, like almost all instruments, the harp is no exception; it also has its own case. And the answer to that rhetorical question I'm answering anyway 😂 is that it's designed to protect the instrument from the elements during transport or storage. If you were to store a valuable instrument in a warehouse without protection, the humidity could damage it.
Also, insects could fill it with cobwebs or even eat away at it. And you don't want your instrument to get damaged, do you? You might also want to take it to a concert or something like that. If you carry it loose or tied up, it will most likely get damaged.

That's why protective covers exist for most instruments. Of course, not all instruments have them, either because they simply don't need them, because they're made of very resistant materials, or because they're too large. But generally, the more expensive ones do have them.
So, my friends, let me tell you a little about the hand-drawn picture you've been seeing. In the first four images, you could see how I did the drawing by hand. I traced the card case along with the base of the deck. Once that was finished, I colored it with colored pencils. This was the finished result.

Friends, the world of musical instruments is wonderful, and it's beautiful to draw and learn a little more about them every day. And we owe that to Rising Star. Thanks for viewing my drawing today. Hugs.
