Back here to continue commenting on my UNDERTALE gameplays. from my work I have some minutes to play and I decided to record some of these sessions and then upload them to 3speak in the future when I understand how to enter, thanks yt I am very grateful that you decided to go through my post, the adventure continues with me solving a couple of puzzles on the way while I try to deal with the constant battles that several monsters want to have with me, Here I was getting familiar with the turn based battles that the game has, and I was discovering that we didn't necessarily have to fight the monsters that appeared, we also had the option to spare them or act to get them out of the battle.
I found a ghost sleeping on my way and if I already thought that the game had its charm I ended up loving it, we had to fight against the ghost and although the first time I just attacked it until it mocked me and told me that as it was a ghost I couldn't kill it, I thought it was funny so I reloaded the game and this time I didn't attack but I flattered and made friends with the ghost, it was possible to pass it both ways but I thought that the friendly mode was more in line with the whole feeling of the game that seems to me very kawaii and retro.
We passed this fight and went through the passages after talking to the ghost for a while, he told me he met a nice person today so I guess I won't be attacking any other monsters to see if that makes a difference in the game, the dialogues are what add that personality to the monsters and it's a bit what discourages me from killing them, it's amazing what a couple of dialogues do.
After passing through some passages I found another sample of the charm of this game, a spider fair that were selling cakes made by spiders for spiders, something that caused me a lot of fun and even more that I can buy some of these cakes if I spend some of the gold I have collected from the battles, it does not remain in more than a gesture but the game has a quality in the dialogues that makes me subconsciously enter into these actions, and I love it.
I got to several rooms where there was another puzzle with some levers, I didn't understand very well what to do so I was changing the switches randomly for 10 minutes before opening several doors, if I failed in any of these puzzles I was sent to a dungeon similar to the one in the room I discussed in the other post, I tried the combat system with some of the monsters I found, I tried to just talk to them and then forgive them but their attacks were too complicated to dodge at least for me, so I must admit that I killed some :(
When I passed the first switch room there was another similar one behind so I spent some time falling and climbing back up, trying all the levers and praying that one would let me pass, I spent a considerable time trying all the combinations until I could pass through all the rooms, I was able to save the game but right after this I faced my first double fight, this increased the difficulty because if I finished with one I still had to dodge the remaining monsters, and to finish I was also low in HP, I did the best I could but in the end I lost the fight and I was returned to the save point.
This is all I played in my free time before going to work, I promise that in the next post I will have some gameplay ready to upload it to 3speak but so far that's all, this session was a bit full of puzzles and minor battles but I still love all the dialogues and the personality of each one of the characters.
Thank you very much for your support, Best regards to all the Hive community and have a blessed Sunday!
