Yesterday I arrived in Venezuela—this trip had been in my heart since January. I’d been struggling with my health while living in Lima, and I knew I needed this break, this homecoming.
I made a beautiful stop in 📍Medellín before finally reaching my beloved Portuguesa state. It took me almost a full day to get here, with Holy Week traffic and heavy rains… but I’m finally with my family.
Coming back after 4 years away has been a whirlwind of emotions. Hugging them, seeing how much has changed and yet how much has stayed the same—it’s filled my soul.
