Hey today I will talk about a our native fruit which is called Star Fruit. However in our regional language it is called Kamranga.

The most surprising thing is that this fruit contains a large amount of vitamin C and antioxidants.Nowadays this fruit tree is not seen very often. In the past, this tree was seen next to almost every house, but now it is almost extinct.Despite having so much vitamin C, people are not very interested in planting this tree. However this fruit tree is sometimes seen in abandoned forests.

As a child, we used to collect and eat kamaranga from kamaranga trees but those days are no longer available.Experts say that this fruit is very beneficial and was once a popular fruit in rural Bengal, but we still call it a popular fruit and it is our favorite fruit.Maybe future generations will not recognize this fruit because the trees are almost extinct. It is very beneficial for fever patients and helps in boosting immunity. It restores taste in the mouth.

When we have a fever or digestive problems, we eat this fruit mixed with raw chilies and salt. This is a very beneficial and natural fruit for restoring the taste of the mouth.Nowadays we see various types of formalin-containing fruits in the market, but be 100% sure that this Kamranga from our region is 100% formalin-free and fresh.

However the sad thing is that so many fresh fruits rich in vitamin C are disappearing today. We should plant trees that are rich in vitamin C.During our fever, we seek out amra fruit and kamaranga the most.Because these fruits contain a lot of vitamin C and help boost immunity. These fruits, which are rich in antioxidants, help cure cancer.Local fruits rich in nutrients.

I have also heard that kamaranga helps in improving digestion. The doctor said that this fruit is very beneficial for pregnant mothers and kidney patients. It is sour to eat but I like it very much.Even though it is sour, it is very fresh because we can eat it directly from the tree.No formalin is used to preserve or ripen it.The sad thing is that despite being such a beneficial fruit, there is no demand for it in the market.

Currently Kamranga trees are on the verge of extinction.People now plant very few Kamranga trees, black jam trees, amra trees, tamarind tree and olive trees. However you will be surprised to hear that these once popular fruit trees in our country are now disappearing. In fact people have stopped planting these traditional fruit trees, so they are not available in the market very often.

However olives, tamarind and amra are available in sufficient quantities during the season. There are many tamarind trees in the hilly regions of our country. However the Kamranga trees have almost disappeared. We have a Kamranga tree in our village, so we can eat Kamranga from there occasionally. The tree is very old and we enjoy collecting fresh kamaranga from this tree.Yes we ate Kamranga today.

Finally, let me say one thing: if you have it at hand, don't miss eating this fruit, which is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants.
