Hotel Hunting: Day 2

HI! ANNYEONG! KONNICHIWA HIVERS! It’s @angelwingsss again! And today I’m going to share with you all the second day of my hotel hunting for my internship.  So, last June 30, 2025, was my second day of hotel hunting for my internship. As usual, I’m with with my cousin again. The day before we went for another hotel hunting, I asked him if he could drive me again because I’m not really familiar yet with the roads on the way to my prospect’s hotel.  We left around 10 am and went first to Fairfield by Marriot. When we got on the establishment, I ask the guard first if they are looking for interns cause I’m planning to apply on their hotel. The guard asked me if I already emailed them, I said, “I haven’t” he then instructed me that I must send an email first on the hotel. After that, I thanked the guard and then my cousin and I went to the next hotel.  We went to Cebu Westown because I was thinking that if they might be looking or accepting interns. When we arrive at the establishment, I asked the guard, and he then instructed me to then front desk. I asked the front desk if they are accepting interns because I’m planning to apply. Thankfully, they were approachable, and they told me that they are not sure if the company are accepting interns because they are not on peak season. I said alright and she then asked for my resume, and she will just give it to the HR manager. We left the establishment and went to my third hotel.  We went to Casino Espanol and when we arrived there, the lady guard then asked us if what is our business, I told her that I’m planning to apply for internship, and she then instructed me to go in the employee entrance, and I will find another guard there. I followed her instructions and went looking for the employee entrance while my cousin parked his motorcycle to the basement parking area.  When I found the employee entrance, I then told the guard my inquiries and he told me to wait for a moment because it was already noon when we arrive. It was around 12: 50 noon when the guard lead me the way on the office. A lady then told me to sit and asks me some questions; I wasn’t sure if she’s the HR manager. She then asked me to leave my resume as the Assistant HR manager wasn’t around, and she will just call me on my number tomorrow.  I left the establishment feeling happy because they said that they will call me and not text me. I was planning to go home already because I was confident that the Casino Espanol will call me tomorrow, but my cousin suggested that we should go to my last hotel option since we are just near the hotel. We went to Harolds hotel, and the bell boy told me to go at the back of the hotel and there will be a lady guard there. I went at the back and the same thing just happened, they ask for my resume and leave it there. After that, we then went home and take a rest. So, that’s it for my second day hotel hunting everyone!
