Our Unplanned Trip to Cancalanog Falls in Alegria Cebu

***HI! ANNYEONG! KONNICHIWA HIVERS! It’s @angelwingsss again, and today I’m going to share with you all our fun and unexpected experienced in Cancalanog Falls in Alegria, Cebu.***  So, we went to Moalboal last month. It was a sudden because my cousin who likes to go on a long ride asked me to catch up with my sister and her boyfriend who went on a long ride in south part of Cebu with their friends. It was around 10 am when we left and catch up with them. During the ride, we just listened to music and enjoy the view. It was hot and sunny day that time, so we wore jackets. When we were in Mandaue, my sister called us in facetime. She asked us if where we are that time, we told her that we are still a far from them. We asked her where they are now, she said they had a stop in Santander. We told her that we might catch them in Moalboal in noon since we are still a far from them.  It was exactly noon when we arrived in Moalboal. We called my sister to asked her where they are, she said that they are in Jollibee, and they are already taking their lunch. When we stopped at Jollibee, I noticed that I had a tiny bump in my face. I was really shocked that time because I didn’t expect to have breakouts again. I told my cousin if is it visible? And he said yes. I was really frustrated that time becauseI don’t understand why I had a breakout again, was it because we only had a half bath before we left? Or was it because it was very hot that time and I didn’t wear any sunscreen? I was really conscious that time when we went inside the fast-food establishment.  While eating, we asked my sister if they are planning to swim in Moalboal beach, but they said that they aren’t going to swim because they didn’t brig any swimwear with them and they only just wanted to go for hiking and have a long ride around the south part of Cebu. And since they are not going for a swim, my cousin and I decided that we will just go to Cancalanog Falls in Alegria since we are already in Moalboal, might as well seize the moment while we are there. It was almost an hour ride when we arrived at Cancalanog. The entrance fee was 50 pesos per person and 20 pesos for motorbikes parking. We also need to go down the hill, since th Cancalanog Falls is located down the hill.  When we were already there, I was amazed by the beauty of Cancalanog Falls. The water was very blue, and it was kind of slippery too, so we need to be careful on where we step. There were a lot of foreigners that time too. Before we swam, we took turn to take pictures. The beauty of Cancalanog was worth for an IG post too. When we went for a swim, me and my cousin laugh the whole time because it was cold, too cold that I was already shivering while we were in the water and thought (tho it did not stop me to enjoy the water).  It was around 3pm when we decided to stop swimming and start preparing our things to go home. We went up the hill, it was slippery again because it started raining when we started swimming, so the way up the hill was slippery. After changing, we went to go home already, but since it was still early that time, my cousin decided to stop by on the road to take some pictures of his Motorcycle. The view where we stop by was really breathtaking! We can see the sea and the mountains up there and the sunlight reflecting the sea made it more spectacular to see. After taking pictures, we really went to go home for real because we still have a long ride before we get home. So, that’s it for our unexpected experience in Cancalanog Falls in Alegria.
