Trying something different with different ingredients, but with seasoning that's comforting to our taste buds. It sounds like delicious comfort food.

To be honest, this is my first time eating fish. I have a regular customer at the vegetable vendor who passes by my house. And the good news is that I can always request what ingredients I want to buy, and he'll bring them to my house the next day.

Today, the vegetable vendor offered me a fish fillet, and there was only one package left. The others were sold out. So I had no other choice. I've never cooked with this ingredient before, so that's a good thing.
This fish fillet is actually more like minced fish, because its texture is like minced fish. So I won't be frying it in a floured coating. I'll just cook it directly in the pan with the seasoning.

THE INGREDIENTS

- 250 grams fish fillet.
- 150 grams of cucumber
- 50 grams of sprouts
- 1 tomato

- 5 cloves of garlic
- 5 cloves of shallots
- a thumb-size portion of ginger, flattened
- optional: chili peppers
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
- enough cooking oil

Cooking Instructions

I prepared the seasoning. Start by thinly slicing the garlic, then slicing the shallots, and also slicing the chilies. And don't forget to crush the ginger.

Next, I diced the cucumber. I resisted the urge to devour these fresh cucumbers, hehe. Also do same thing with tomato.

I heated the vegetable oil in a pan. Then, I sautéed the sliced garlic, sliced shallots, and flattened ginger.

Cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes, then add the chili or bell pepper.
Add salt and sugar for this step.

Then, add the fish fillets. Stir well and cook until the fish looks cooked through, about 5 minutes.

Once the fish is cooked, add the cucumber, sprouts, and diced tomatoes.

Stir well and cook only briefly so the cucumber and sprouts remain crisp! That's it. Sounds easy, right?
