Hello everyone, I hope you are well. My warmest regards to all those lovely people who take a few minutes to read my posts. I am completely grateful. Today I am sharing this decoration of my work and study area with a computer that means a lot to me. Without further ado, let's begin.

I recently built my own computer, which is very basic but functional. I'm really happy with it, and my work area was very simple. At first, I thought about making a mural, but I didn't have any white paint to use as a base for the other paintings.

So, following an idea that came to me, “I can make a gallery with some of the work I've already done from my previous semesters.”

They mean a lot to me, because they are my beginnings in this journey, what at some point was a headache and frustration for delivering something well done, today I look at it with longing and beautiful feelings, the selection was difficult because I have several and the wall is not very big, so I tried to choose two of each type, two with a black background, two with pastel chalks, and two watercolors.
> Significan mucho para mí, porque son mis inicios en este viaje, lo que en algún momento fue un dolor de cabeza y frustración por entregar algo bien hecho, hoy lo miro con anhelo y lindos sentimientos, la selección fue difícil porque tengo varios y la pared no es muy grande, así que trate de escoger dos de cada tipo, dos de fondo negro, dos con tizas pastel, y dos de acuarela.
Then, as I couldn't continue choosing two by two, there was one of charcoal, another of graphite and charcoal, and one of ochre chalks.

My process began by including my first-semester drawing in an activity we attended at Plaza Bolívar, Visual Artist Day in Venezuela. It was an unforgettable day for me. It was the first interaction my classmates and I had with the public.

The second drawing was in a midterm in the second semester. This is where students learn about human anatomy. That phase was also beautiful. The professor made the subject enjoyable, easy, and, above all, educational, as he shared with us knowledge he'd learned personally in other areas and didn't just rely on textbooks.
> El segundo dibujo fue en un parcial en segundo semestre, es donde los estudiantes ven anatomía humana esa etapa fue hermosa también, el profesor hizo de la materia algo disfrutable y sencillo y sobre todo educativo, ya que nos compartió conocimientos que aprendió personalmente en otras áreas y no solo se fía de los libros.
I then added three more works: two with black backgrounds, both from the first semester, and the other, which is all blue, from the third semester. We exhibited the one with the black background above in an exhibition at the dean's office at the end of the first semester; that was my first exhibition.

The blue painting is a watercolor I made in the third semester of expressive techniques. It represents loneliness. It's a female human figure that is under deep water. It's one of the first works I did, creating an image from the lyrics of a song.
> La pintura azul son unas acuarelas que hice en el tercer semestre en técnicas de expresión, representa la soledad, es una figura humana femenina que está debajo de aguas profundas, es uno de los primeros trabajos que hice creando una imagen a partir de la letra de una canción.
Then to complete the bottom I placed another work with full color, it is a mixed media drawing using cold paint, colors, wash and pastel chalks, this one was also made from a melody that the teacher played for us in class, it was the song by [Antonio Vivaldi](https://www.pcmsconcerts.org/composer/antonio-vivaldi/) called [Storm](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqAOGduIFbg), when I heard it and thought about the concept for the drawing I thought it was a song that caused euphoria, it was intense, of course all this without knowing the name of the song and the context, and I said that my drawing was going to be about a female figure dancing wildly in the middle of a sea storm, I'm still not very good at giving expressiveness to the body, but I strategically used red for the dress to show the intention of intensity, I don't know what you think about how it turned out, so tell me in the comments that they think.
> Después para completar la parte inferior coloque otra obra con ful color, es un dibujo de técnicas mixtas use pintura al frío, colores, aguada y tizas pastel, está también la hice a partir de una melodía que nos puso el profesor en las clases, se trataba de la canción de [Antonio Vivaldi](https://www.pcmsconcerts.org/composer/antonio-vivaldi/) que lleva por [nombre Storm](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqAOGduIFbg), cuando la escuche y pensé en el concepto para el dibujo pensé que era una canción que ocasionaba euforia, era intensa, claro todo esto sin saber el nombre de la canción y el contexto, y dije que mi dibujo va a tratar de una figura femenina bailando desenfrenadamente en medio de una tormenta del mar, aún no soy muy buena dando expresividad al cuerpo, pero use estratégicamente color rojo para el vestido para que se note la intensión de intensidad, no sé qué opinen de como me quedó, así que cuéntenme en los comendatarios que opinan.
Later, I posted some practices I did in class above. The new one I posted on the left is a practice with ochre chalk and charcoal, and the other is another practice we did in class, where we worked a lot on using light and shadow without putting so much emphasis on the figure.
> Posteriormente, coloqué arriba unas prácticas que hice en clases, el nuevo que coloqué en la izquierda es una práctica de cretas ocre y carboncillos y el otro es otra práctica que realizamos en clases con la que trabajábamos mucho el manejo de luces y sombras sin hacerle tanto hincapié en la figura.
And so, meanwhile, my gallery on the wall remained. I was delighted. Now, every time I'm working and stop to rest, I'll proudly look back at my beginnings and gain motivation to keep improving.
