Buen día viajeros, el día de hoy quiero compartir una visita espiritual en la ciudad de San Carlos de Bariloche, durante mi recorrido por las calles y avenidas de la ciudad, mi familia y yo no nos podíamos ir sin visitar la emblemática Catedral Nuestra Señora del Nahuel Huapi, un lugar especial para la religión católica. Esta imponente infraestructura creada en 1946 con un diseño gótico y medieval nos lleva durante su recorrido a la época antigua, ya que está construida en casi su totalidad por piedras blancas.
Good morning travelers, today I want to share a spiritual visit in the city of San Carlos de Bariloche, during my tour through the streets and avenues of the city, my family and I could not leave without visiting the emblematic Cathedral of Our Lady of Nahuel Huapi, a special place for the Catholic religion. This imposing infrastructure created in 1946 with a gothic and medieval design takes us during its tour to ancient times, as it is built almost entirely of white stones.
Como parte de las muchas caminatas que realizamos en la ciudad, nos dirigimos a calle Vicealmirante O´Connor con la esquina de la calle Beschtedt para encontrarnos con tan hermosa Catedral, ubicada al frente del lago Nahuel Huapi y rodeada de jardines que embellecen aun mas este lugar.
As part of the many walks we did in the city, we went to Vice Admiral O'Connor street with the corner of Beschtedt street to find such a beautiful Cathedral, located in front of Lake Nahuel Huapi and surrounded by gardens that further embellish this place.
En su parte exterior tiene tallada en piedra blanca la imagen de la virgen María, ubicada en el centro de su fachada principal. Sin duda alguna, una arquitectura llena de detalles que destacan todo el esplendor del ámbito religioso desde sus orígenes.
In its exterior part it has carved in white stone the image of the Virgin Mary, located in the center of its main facade. Undoubtedly, an architecture full of details that highlight all the splendor of the religious environment from its origins.
En su interior pudimos ver una entrada con toda la información que brinda la catedral, incluyendo visitas guiadas y toda la programación de actividades religiosas que se realizan durante la semana.
Inside we could see an entrance with all the information provided by the cathedral, including guided tours and all the programming of religious activities that take place during the week.
Es una catedral bastante alta con vitrales alusivos a figuras religiosas incrustadas en paredes rocosas.
It is a rather tall cathedral with stained glass windows alluding to religious figures embedded in rock walls.
En parte del recorrido se muestran escenas de toda la crucifixión de Cristo talladas en piedras, un diseño que abarca con mucha sutileza cada detalle de lo sucedido, dando un toque de realismo y a la vez elegante por las formas de sus piedras, resaltando sobre esa pared rustica que caracteriza al lugar.
Part of the tour shows scenes of the crucifixion of Christ carved in stones, a design that covers with great subtlety every detail of what happened, giving a touch of realism and at the same time elegant by the shapes of the stones, highlighting the rustic wall that characterizes the place.
Allí dentro note que el color gris y negro destacan, haciéndolo ver como especie de una iglesia inmersa en una cueva, distinta a todas las que he visitado. El sitio encanta con su historia, figuras y la esencia de los llamados picapedreros, albañiles, peones y todos los contribuyentes que hicieron posible la construcción de este maravilloso templo.
Inside I noticed that the gray and black colors stand out, making it look like a kind of church immersed in a cave, unlike any other I have visited. The site enchants with its history, figures and the essence of the so-called stonemasons, bricklayers, laborers and all the contributors who made possible the construction of this wonderful temple.
Después de haber recorrido su interior salimos para admirarla por completa, aprovechando un rato para descansar en las plazas que están a su alrededor, allí la pureza del aire, los árboles que la rodean, la vista del lago, lo hacen un lugar espiritualmente armónico en todos sus sentidos.
After having toured its interior we went out to admire it completely, taking advantage of a while to rest in the squares that are around it, there the purity of the air, the trees that surround it, the view of the lake, make it a spiritually harmonious place in all its senses.
Seguimos caminando hacia el lago, separado de la Catedral solamente por una avenida, desde allí se sigue observando la parte más alta de ella. Al llegar abajo nos encontramos con el lago que parecía un mar alborotado con pequeñas olas por la tremenda brisa que hacia ese día.
We continued walking towards the lake, separated from the Cathedral only by an avenue, from there we could still see the highest part of it. When we reached the bottom we found the lake that looked like a rough sea with small waves by the tremendous breeze that day.
Aquí terminamos el recorrido con el inicio de un atardecer que nos mostró una ciudad llena de magia en cada rincón visitado. Estoy segura que nos volveremos a encontrar Bariloche de mi corazón.
Here we ended the tour with the beginning of a sunset that showed us a city full of magic in every corner visited. I am sure we will meet again Bariloche of my heart.
