A weekee-greeting to all Hivers!! I wanted to share with you a few pictures I took a few days ago at Old Havana.
I went out with a friend of mine and we walked around the place, specially in "La Plaza de las Palomas". I was not interested in taking pictures of the place but of the animals though. I really love animals and probably on future posts of mine you'll see many pictures of them. And this one is full XD
Of course, since pigeons give the Plaza its name they're really abundant here. They live here since centuries. Always after a certain amount of time passes, all of them, no exceptions, fly in circles high up around the fountain many times and then rest on the buildings or on the floor while looking for food.
I still don't understand this tradition or ritual among them but is so cool to see.
They're also not scared of being near humans. They kind of get away when you get too close but as soon as they see you with corn beans they follow you like Minecraft chickens XD
Near the plaza I saw this little doggy full of dust resting in the sidewalk.
I wanted to pet it but I didn´t want to wake it up so I just took a picture and moved on.
Found a scaredy cat crossing the streets with dense traffic, luckily nothing bad happened. I managed to capture it from an opening while it was looking at the camera but it didn´t get closer for pets :(
Well, that´s all for this post. My friend´s stomach was feeling right, probably because of some popcorns we ate before, so we had to leave some minutes after I took the cat picture. Read ya on the next post :3!
