A weekee-greeting to all Hivers!! Today while taking a look inside the photo gallery of my PC I found some plant pictures I took at my grandma's house back yard long ago and I wanted to show you the most interesting ones.
My grandma has all kind of plants there and they're all aligned one after another no matter the species. It's like a long vegetation barrier, and it's full of all kind of insects.
In the case of the plants above, they're mostly visited by ants and centipedes since they come from the earth. But when speaking of the ones from trees or growing inside of them they most of the time get different visitors: the termites. You can see some evidence of their presence in the leaves.
Then we have the plants with flowers, being of course dominated by bees.
It almost got out of frame, how lucky! A lot of pollen to take home :D
But we have another class of insects, the territorial guys: wasps and 'hell horses' (we call them like that here, I don't know if they're actually called like that)
I'm really scared of bugs that have a stinger in general. No exceptions. They're my only fear.
In this picture you can experience an epic fight between the two species, a single wasp trying to sting an enormous and terrifying hell horse in its weak point.
To make you have an idea, this weirdly named bug can kill tarantulas with its venom in seconds, we saw a fight when I was a kid between those two and we were so shocked by how the tarantula was paralyzed and dead so quickly. Literally nothing can kill this, not even hitting it twice with a broom...
I wanted though to show you the image with the original colors, I thought is was worth enough to see it. I personally love it.
Hope you liked my photos, read ya on the next one :3!
