Hi Everyone,I want to share my new drawing of one of my favourite DC villains. I've only seen Darkseid in Justice League, but he leaves a longing impact. His voice, his music everything is soo intimidating. so here it is.
Here are the steps I followed.
First outline with grid, here I made a mistake with his head and I didn't noticed his little tilt. It also appeared in the final drawing (skill issues).
Shading face,those nerves were hard to replicate, But I do got the metallic helmet right also the expression. I also choose this reference because I so wanted to rub my 10B pencil on paper.
More rubbing, here tried to give texture on the hand and give little metallic look on the shield. The light source was on the back at top right. the front was the shadow zone and there were some shine on the armours.
