This short distance trip I planned very fast before I will for an operation for my breast lumps in five days after this trip. And I really had so much joy from this short and simple plan, which turned strangers into friends in just a few hours. When our group arrived, everyone felt excited. We took photos and looked at the trail before us. The road was not smooth like the streets in the city. It was a natural path, filled with small stones, uneven soil, and surrounded by the beauty of nature. It felt different — more real, more pure — as if nature itself was kindly reminding us that true adventures are not always found on easy roads. At first, my new friend was the one who would drive. She sat down, ready to lead us along the trail. But as soon as she started, we almost went into the trees! I offer to drive, and she lets me way as well. But I was not sure what to expect, also. I can drive a car, yes, but I have never tried a motorcycle. An ATV, I thought, might be similar to a motorcycle, only with four big wheels. I’m thinking, and I said to myself. “I will do my best, or else we will not able to follow the others.”
As soon as I took the driver’s seat, a mix of nervousness and excitement. I began to move forward slowly and gently, trying to understand how the ATV reacted to my hands.”. Unlike a car that runs smoothly, this one was harder to control because of the rough ground. The small rocks made the wheels bounce, and I had to stay steady so that we would not lose balance. But after some moments, I began to feel more at ease — and it became more enjoyable. Of course, we stopped along the way to take photos. The views and mountains with their strong rocky faces seemed timeless, as if they carried many stories. The green place felt calm, away from the loud city. Standing there with new friends, smiling and laughing together, I felt very thankful for the moment.” I still recall the cluster of golden flowers along the trail — so modest, yet so lovely. They were not planted by human hands, yet they bloomed in such beauty on their own. It was a tender reminder that, just like them, life also finds its own season to blossom, without need for force.” Such and calming feeling to experience it.
One of the most special parts of this adventure was sharing it with strangers, but as we rode the trail together — helping and cheering each other — we slowly became friends. That is the gift of small adventures: they bring joy and also new connections. This ATV ride was more than just driving on rough roads. This is the good thing about trying something new, letting go of fear, and finding joy in simple things — the mountains, the stones, the grass, and the flowers. Most of all, it was about creating memories with people who soon felt like companions. It was a small trip, but for me, it felt just perfect. this simple adventures — with muddy roads and bumpy trails — are the ones we remember the most. That day, I went home with tired arms but a happy heart. I learned that life is not only about big achievements, but also about little moments like this. My first ATV ride, being close to nature, and sharing laughter with new friends — these are blessings I will always keep in my heart.” Today, while writing this simple story of mine, I have some good news. I went to the hospital on Thursday, supposed to check in for my operation for my breast lumps. My surgeon informed me that I do not need to proceed with the operation, my breast lump is not cancerous, so he will give me a medication and observe me every week. I already had my enjoyable trip and I also had some very good news, what an amazing life.
