I would like to share my Boris journey for his leg operation, and how brave our boy is. As parents, my husband and I chose to go through the process like this for a better future for our little boy. And now it has been 6months his under in a cast, but this coming Monday he will be free from the cast and his leg is fixed. He had two surgeries, and both were successful. We are just waiting for the big day on August 18, and he will be free. The pictures uploaded are showing how how process and situation in the hospital. We have to check in on his ward the day before the operation. To prep him and a minor check-up.
After that, we will sleep on the hospital ward, and evening, my husband will go back to our house for our other kids, and I will stay with Boris. I have my own bed beside him, and I also have food from the hospital they always give two sets every meal. This is what I like about the public hospital in Malaysia: they really have a good budget for the patients. This hospital is a public specialist hospital, but offers such good service. I can only hope that one day, in my beloved Philippines, hospitals can be like this — where every citizen is treated with care and dignity, and where families can feel safe and comfortable during difficult times. Anyway, our Boris is truly our little hero. And when he grows older, I will gently remind him of how truly brave he is.
