Hace exactamente un año, mi hijo mayor nos dio la grata sorpresa de venir a Venezuela a visitarnos, después de 7 años de haber emigrado del país con su esposa y su hijita de 5 años, en búsqueda de una mejor calidad de vida para sacar adelante a su familia. Después de estar fuera, el proceso de venir a pasar un tiempo con nosotras no se hizo tan fácil, ya que estar en otro país requería poner en regla muchos documentos que le protegieran su estadía en cualquier sitio, según lo requerido en determinado lugar y como respeto a sus normas… ése era el deber ser como visitante. >Exactly one year ago, my eldest son gave us the pleasant surprise of coming to Venezuela to visit us, after seven years of having emigrated from the country with his wife and five-year-old daughter in search of a better quality of life to support his family. After being away, the process of coming to spend time with us was not so easy, since being in another country required him to get many documents in order to protect his stay anywhere, as required in certain places and in accordance with their rules... that was his duty as a visitor.

Por fin, después de tener todo en regla, y guardando cada mes un poco de su salario, pudo reunir para viajar, pero tuvo que venir solo ya que no les alcanzaba para los pasajes de los cuatro, ahora la familia había crecido. Lo que iba a ser un mes de vacaciones, se prolongó por casi dos, ya que requería algunos documentos personales, y eso tomó más tiempo del pensado. Mientras todo eso se lograba, nosotros aprovechamos para disfrutar al máximo su visita, yendo a sitios hermosos locales, y él viajando algunos días a ver al resto de la familia que estaba dispersa por Venezuela. Decidí dedicar estos dos meses de #tbt, a esos días bellos que vivimos el año pasado, porque recordarlos es vitamina para el alma. Esta foto fue en una finca entre Guanipa y San Tomé, donde celebramos el aniversario del gym de mi hija. Allí estuvimos muchos amigos, familia, y el team Vida. Una de las cosas que mi hija dijo en su discurso de ese día fue, que lo mejor que pudo darle Dios en ese momento aparte de cumplir un año con su proyecto, fue que coincidiera con la llegada de su hermano al país, ya que le permitió celebrarlo con las personas que más amaba. Y para mí, verlos juntos después de tantos años, fue la consagración de la felicidad como madre. >Finally, after getting everything in order and saving a little of his salary each month, he was able to save up enough to travel, but he had to come alone because they couldn't afford tickets for all four of them; the family had grown. While all this was being sorted out, we took the opportunity to enjoy his visit to the fullest, going to beautiful local places, and he traveled for a few days to see the rest of the family who were scattered throughout Venezuela. ># >I decided to dedicate these two months of #tbt to those beautiful days we experienced last year, because remembering them is vitamin for the soul. This photo was taken at a farm between Guanipa and San Tomé, where we celebrated my daughter's gym anniversary. Many friends, family, and the Vida team were there. One of the things my daughter said in her speech that day was that the best thing God could have given her at that moment, apart from completing a year with her project, was that it coincided with her brother's arrival in the country, as it allowed her to celebrate with the people she loved most. And for me, seeing them together after so many years was the consecration of happiness as a mother.
