Hola amigos de @music un gusto saludarles espero se encuentren super genial ,soy nueva por acá en esta comunidad bienvenidos a mi pequeño blog...Quería compartir con ustedes una breve reseña y un poco de lo que este sencillo de Avenged Sevenfold me ha generado,y la verdad son muchos sentimientos encontrados desde que escuché por primera vez este tema, porque principalmente hay que recordar que este tema es un homenaje al baterista original de la banda, Jimmy «The Rev» Sullivan , quien falleció mientras dormía el 28 de diciembre de 2009 de allí que este tema sea por dicho duelo de la banda.

I wanted to share with you a brief review and a little of what this single by Avenged Sevenfold has generated in me, and the truth is that it's been a lot of mixed feelings since I first heard this song, because mainly we have to remember that this song is a tribute to the band's original drummer, Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, who passed away in his sleep on December 28, 2009, hence why this song is about the band's mourning.

Anteriormente les decía que cada que escucho esta canción tengo una mezcla de sentimientos encontrados y es que al saber que fué compuesta en homenaje al baterista me hace recordar mucho el año en que mi abuelo falleció,sabíamos que pues iba a morir pero tener que pasar y que llegue ese momento te cuesta aceptar tanto la realidad y el dolor que causa la muerte de un ser querido por mucho que puedas soportarlo siempre te termina destrozando de una manera inexplicable.

I told you before that every time I hear this song I have a mixture of mixed feelings and knowing that it was composed in tribute to the drummer makes me remember the year my grandfather passed away. We knew that he was going to die but having to go through it and when that moment arrives, it's so hard to accept the reality and the pain caused by the death of a loved one, no matter how much you can bear it, it always ends up destroying you in an inexplicable way.

Aunque pase el tiempo aún te duele aún lo sientes como si vivieras ese momento de nuevo ,en ese año caí en depresión hace como casi 10 años desde que mi abuelo murió,mis familiares también se sintieron muy tristes el ver que ya no se sentaba en la silla que a el le gustaba y escucharlo hablar todas las tardes es algo muy triste me trae muchos recuerdos y se que mucho mas a mi abuela,con el paso del tiempo pues solo nos quedó aceptarlo pero siempre recuerdo a mi abuelo con cariño y todo lo que hacía aun el dolor lo llevo en el corazón y se me hace un nudo en la garganta cada que me vienen sus recuerdos.

Even though time passes, it still hurts, you still feel it as if you were living that moment again. That year I fell into depression, almost 10 years ago since my grandfather died. My relatives also felt very sad to see that he no longer sat in the chair that he liked and hearing him talk every afternoon is something very sad, it brings back many memories and I know that it brings back much more to my grandmother. With the passage of time, all we could do was accept it, but I always remember my grandfather with affection and everything he did. Even though I carry the pain in my heart, I get a lump in my throat every time I remember his memories.

El video musical (dirigido por Wayne Isham ) muestra a los cuatro miembros restantes de la banda tocando en un estudio y también conduciendo un Cadillac DeVille por un barrio (posiblemente Huntington Beach , donde se originó la banda). A lo largo del video, se reproducen flashbacks de los cuatro. Se les muestra como niños jugando en un garaje, luego como adolescentes jugando y pasando el rato, y robando cerveza de una licorería. Hay una escena en el video en la que se ve a un joven Sullivan montado en el manillar de una bicicleta conducida por un joven M. Shadows, pateando un cubo de basura metálico en la calle. Shadows hizo referencia a esto al hablar de Sullivan antes de tocar en So Far Away en Rock am Ring 2014. The music video (directed by Wayne isham) shows the four remaining band members playing in a studio and also driving a Cadillac DeVille around a neighborhood (possibly Huntington Beach, where the band originated). Throughout the video, flashbacks of the four play. They are shown as children playing in a garage, then as teenagers playing and hanging out, and stealing beer from a liquor store. There is a scene in the video where a young Sullivan is seen riding on the handlebars of a bicycle ridden by a young M. Shadows, kicking a metal trash can in the street. Shadows referenced this when talking about Sullivan before playing in So Far Away at Rock am Ring 2014. ("We knew this guy since we were this big, rolling around the neighborhood, knocking over trash cans; just being jerks.") During the bridge, a collection of photos and videos of the Rev plays. It ends with a clip of the remaining band members and James hugging.

El video musical es un poco melancólico pero me gustó mucho ,sin embargo una de las cosas que me gustan de los sencillos de Avenged Sevenfold son los toques de suaves a un poco altos característico del metalcore y el heavy metal.

The music video is a little melancholic but I liked it a lot, however one of the things I like about Avenged Sevenfold's singles are the soft to slightly loud touches characteristic of metalcore and heavy metal.
