Buenas noches apreciados amigos un placer saludarles ,les quiero enseñar como es que he elaborado este precioso vestido para estar en casa con tela no estirable y elástico en la cintura,he usado por supuesto un elástico de 1 cm aproximadamente de ancho porque el hilo elástico mi máquina la verdad no lo agarra y es una lastima porque siempre he querido trabajar con este tipo de hilo en este tipo de prendas como vestidos playeros que me encantan tanto ,pero trabajaremos con lo que tenemos así que yo tengo este tipo de elástico que usaré para este vestido en la cintura y la parte de atrás,si te gustaría apreciar este tipo de prendas y ver el proceso te invito a que te quedes unos minutos para apreciar el resultado te va a gustar mucho mucho te lo aseguro 😉.

Of course, I used an elastic band that is approximately 1 cm wide because my machine really doesn't grip the elastic thread and it's a shame because I've always wanted to work with this type of thread in this type of garments like beach dresses that I love so much, but we'll work with what we have, so I have this type of elastic that I will use for this dress at the waist and the back. Paso 01
Empezaremos cortando las telas en este caso yo tenía una tela de una falda larga y la reciclé para hacer este vestido,le dejé la parte del dobladillo abajo simplemente le corté la pieza de la cintura arriba y descosí el cierre,luego tomé la regla y de arriba a abajo marcaré 15 cm de largo y trazaremos una línea horizontal con la tiza porque empezaremos a coser de allí hacia arriba el elástico por todo el contorno de mi vestido en esa parte,luego cortamos los tirantes de 9 cm de ancho x 30 cm de largo,y empezamos cosiendo el borde de la pieza del vestido arriba en este caso usé mi overclock ustedes pueden usar costura zig zag.
Step 01
We will start by cutting the fabrics in this case I had a fabric from a long skirt and I recycled it to make this dress, I left the hem part down I simply cut the waist piece above and unstitched the zipper, then I took the ruler and from top to bottom I will mark 15 cm long and we will draw a horizontal line with the chalk because we will start sewing from there up the elastic around the entire outline of my dress in that part, then we cut the straps 9 cm wide x 30 cm long, and we start by sewing the edge of the dress piece above in this case I used my overclock you can use zig zag stitching.
Paso 02
Cosemos ahora el elástico que va en el contorno de la parte de arriba donde hemos cosido el borde del vestido arriba allí ubicaremos el elástico estiramos y vamos cosiendo, Luego vamos a coser el elástico en la parte de la cintura hasta arriba por todo el contorno con costura recta estirando poco a poco,luego después de coser en la parte de la cintura del talle delantero del vestido no cosemos en la parte del busto solo cosemos completo el elástico el talle de atrás del vestido para sujetar bien ésta parte.
Step 02
Now we sew the elastic that goes around the top part where we sewed the edge of the dress. There we will place the elastic, stretch it and sew it. Then we will sew the elastic around the waist up to the top around the entire perimeter with a straight seam, stretching it little by little. Then, after sewing the waist part of the front waist of the dress, we do not sew the bust part, we only sew the entire elastic around the back waist of the dress to hold this part in place.
Paso 03
Procedo después a coser el otro elástico arriba del vestido para hacerlo doble,y estaremos cosiendo los tirantes por el borde los volteamos con una herramienta pasa cinta y lo planchamos para mejor acabado luego lo estaremos ubicando de atrás hacia adelante cosiendolos bien.
Step 03
I then proceed to sew the other elastic on top of the dress to make it double, and we will be sewing the straps along the edge, we turn them over with a tape tool and iron it for a better finish, then we will be placing it from back to front, sewing them well.
Paso 04
En la parte de el frente vamos a coser los botones en este caso les cosí unos botones de florecitas que me encantaron demasiado y que sentí que le vendrían bien este tipo de botones por el estampado de flores de la tela ,que está muy precioso 😍🌸,así terminamos de coser este vestido.

On the front we are going to sew the buttons, in this case I sewed some little flower buttons that I loved so much and I felt that this type of buttons would be good because of the flower print on the fabric, which is very beautiful 😍🌸, this is how we finished sewing this dress.
