Several terms are employed in the Bible to refer to Jesus Christ, especially in reflection to His priestly roles. Among the many titles that describe Him, one that stands out is ' The Lamb Of God'.

The Purpose Of this Lamb Of God is to take away the sin of the world ( John 1:29 ). The truth of Scripture is that every man on earth is naturally a sinner from conception ( Romans 3:23 ), and that sinful state, we are all enemies of God.
But the good news is that God loves us all beyond human comprehension and decided to reconcile us to Himself, by sending Jesus to be the Lamb for the sacrifice!
John tells us that this provision is available not just for a few people or for some chosen section, but for the whole world ! The same John later points out: " For God so love the world, that He gave His only Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life" ( John 3:16 ).
This is the greatest news for all humanity. God loves you and deeply and dearly. God has made every provision for your salvation and eternity! Christ has died for your sins and paid the full price for your freedom from the consequences of your sins! Have you accepted Him?
