Indonesian Society of Radiographers (ISR) or better known as PARI (Perhimpunan Radiografer Indonesia) in Indonesia held a meeting today. I, as a member of the executive board of this organization, received an invitation again to be able to attend the this meeting. Last Sunday a coordination meeting had been held in order to discuss the current condition of the Covid-19 pandemic. In this session we discussed about the preparation of the work program of the Indonesian Society of Radiographers Executive Board for the 2019-2023 period.
During the this meeting, the moderator was Mr. Sarwidi and the minutes from Mr. Agung Nugroho Setiawan. The chairman of the meeting was Mr. Sugiyanto as president of the ISR assisted by General Secretary Mr. Hidayat Agus Sabaruddin. This meeting lasts for more than two hours through the Google Meet application.
At the work program drafting meeting this time, each department explained their respective flagship work programs in order to help improve the ability of radiographers, help improve radiology services, help improve the welfare of radiographers and help improve relations with outsiders including with similar organizations throughout the world.
In the journal ISSRT (International Society of Radiographers & Radiological Technologists) published in April 2020, there was a publication on the success in holding a National Deliberations and re-election of the President of Indonesian Society of Radiographers for the 2019-2023 period which we held in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara Province, of Indonesia.
Lombok is an area that had just been struck by a devastating earthquake on 29 July 2018. At present the that Province has carried out a rehabilitation and reconstruction that was so successful that it returned to a Province that was visited by many tourists due to the beautiful sea charm on the island.
