Yesterday was yard work day which meant I needed to be handy with an electric pole saw. I was downing limbs left and right but encountered resistance with this tree overgrowth that had been bolstered by vines.
As if that were not enough, it was surrounded by wasps. Thankfully I managed without getting stung and eventually this little canopy came down in a dramatic fashion.
The next phase was to cut up these limbs so we can throw them in the fire. I could have opted for my chainsaw but I felt the battleaxe would be much more fun. Took a quick video and decided to make it into a Metal Gear Rising "Standing Here I Realize" meme which resulted in the gif above. After that was done, I spent the remainder of the activity feeding the fire. Good times!
