Hive Open mic week 286// Bukatana by Lemuel ( cover by AO WILSON)
Hello guys, how are we this week, it's another wonderful week again. I remain my humble self, your favorite guitarist, @aowilson, my personality remains the same, so behold my participation for the new week.
My interpretation!!!
The theme for this week is wealth song. And so that is why I chose this powerful Hausa song to share with you'all this week. The title of the song I will be singing is Bukatana by Lemuel. Bukatana is a Hausa word and it means "what I need". So, since we would be talking about wealth, possession, money and things this week,ni decided to do a song that goes in line. So that song actually speaks volumes about me having Jesus and not needing anything because with Jesus all my needs are met.
You know I believe the true definition of wealth is not having it in abundance but that whenever I need it, it comes. That when I am in need of something, my needs are met because I am connected to a source that never runs dry. That's what I define wealth to be. Connected to a source that never runs dry. Riches can finish, but wealth never finishes because a system has been built to ensure that it never goes off.
So I rather have Jesus and have everything I need. Riches answers to wants, but wealth answers to needs and that's how a man ought to live. It's not in the extravaganza or wastage....it is a maintainance of that source of wealth.
I choose wealth, I choose health. Only one who knows the principle of wealth can keep wealth, riches cannot be passed to generations but wealth can.
I will stay with Jesus, all my needs are met!!! Oh thank you minstrel Lemuel for this song.
As you listen, be blessed!!!
Peace out ✌️ 🫴
