Desire means craving or wanting to have something at your disposal so relating it to biblical context this song is a call for believer to desire the presence of God he said your presence is my one desire so placing priority on Jesus making him our one and only desire is the only way that we can prove to him that we truly Desire him. There's need for us to desire what will last which is Jesus Christ he not only last but he lives forever so in our desire in all we crave, we should crave for Jesus crave for his presence and crave for internity. So let serving Jesus be our desire let his presence be all that we desire and nothing else.
