This is my application for the contest Shadow Hunters SMASh Contest-Round 390 by @melinda010100

Greetings, friends! The painting is called "When Mom went to visit her eldest daughter and left her youngest daughter at home with Dad." 2 weeks of harsh everyday life. On September 4, I had another grandson, and therefore my wife went to our daughter on Friday to help her for the first 2 weeks, and then I will go. I was supposed to work a regular schedule - 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. But my boss decided to go on vacation for these 2 weeks, and now I have to go to the office every morning. And that's not all the problems. On Saturday, it turned out that the youngest daughter was ill, and in the evening, I brought her home from the regional center. I wasn't ready for this turn of events, so in the morning I made breakfast from what was at hand: small boiled potatoes, cauliflower, and broccoli. And, of course, 2 eggs. By the way, I cooked all this in a frying pan that my wife and I bought when we were still studying at the Institute. This frying pan is 36 years old. And this fork is not younger than this frying pan, except for a year or two.

I just realized that our kitchen table will be 35 years old in a month. In 1990, we came to live and work at a match factory. We were given a dorm room, but there was no furniture in it. At that time, there was practically no furniture in our stores, and we were given a table, 2 cabinets, and 4 chairs at the factory. Of all this, only the table that we wanted to replace a long time ago has survived to this day, but every year we postpone the purchase. Why? My wife says there is no concept for the configuration of the kitchen.

Friends, did I already say that my daughter praised the breakfast? She has loved broccoli and cauliflower since childhood. We grew these vegetables ourselves, to be more precise, to prepare breakfast, I went to the garden and took these vegetables from the garden.

But for some reason, my daughter stopped eating pears. There is a large harvest of pears in our garden this year. We eat them every day, and I also made pear jam and dried fruits.
