What do you do to stay positive during difficult times? Explain with an example.
In my daily life, I experience severe mental stress almost every day, making my life very frustrating. Sometimes, my emotions are unstable, making me very sensitive and easily angered.
One thing I can do to maintain a positive attitude is to practice silence when I'm having problems. By remaining silent, I can avoid unintentionally uttering harsh words. I don't want this to happen, as using harsh words can hurt others, making it difficult for me to maintain a positive attitude.
One example is, when I have an argument with a family member due to a difference of opinion, when I leave the house, I prefer to remain silent and avoid talking to anyone I encounter. I always choose to be alone and quiet.
Even when someone talks to me, I only respond with a few words. This allows me to control my surging emotions. When I'm emotional, many good things seem bad to me. Therefore, I must really restrain myself from speaking, especially when I have to make decisions that could worsen my life in the future.
Silence is my way out when I'm in a big problem, and by staying silent, I can also become a more positive person. I really guard my attitude, because if I'm negative, others will easily judge my qualities, which will damage my reputation.
