Today I'm going to share my first-ever homemade lasagna. My daughter, @tegoshei, really loves to eat pasta in any form, whether it's spaghetti, carbonara, mac and cheese, or many more.
Lasagna is one of her top favorites. However, for so long, I had never cooked lasagna at home because we didn't have an oven, and I really don't like the smell of beef either. So, we mostly buy lasagna for her at Greenwich, one of the famous fast-food places here in the Philippines.
But lately, I decided to try cooking it using a pan and ground chicken instead of ground beef. I was hesitant at first, afraid it might be a failure. However, I still tried, and here is the result. Please let's take a look at how I did it.

Lasagna in a Pan
## INGREDIENTS:

- Lasagna Pasta
- Ground Chicken
- Quick Melt Cheese
- Cheddar Cheese
- Soy Milk
- Creamer
- Flour
- Butter
- Tomato Paste
- Spaghetti Sauce
- Knorr Chicken Cube
- Ground Black Pepper
- Garlic Powder
- Garlic Onion
- Canola Oil
- Salt
- Knorr Liquid Seasoning
PREPARATION:
Wash the ground chicken using a strainer. Then set aside.
Peel and wash the onion, and then cut it into small pieces. Crush and peel garlic, then mince.
Grate the cheese and cut some of it. Set all the ingredients aside.
## COOKING TIME:

Boil some water in a pot or cooker. Add a pinch of salt and 2 tbsp of canola oil. When it boils, add the lasagna pasta and cook until al dente. Then set aside the pasta after cooking.
Now, let's make the white sauce for our lasagna!
Heat the pan and then add 2 tablespoons of butter, allowing it to melt. Next, add 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour. Stir and mix until the mixture dissolves, then add some sliced quick-melting cheese.

Stir and mix again, and then pour in the soy milk and creamer. Continue stirring to mix them well. Add a pinch of garlic powder, and then later on add some grated cheese. Continue stirring until it thickens. Then set aside.

In another pan, heat a small amount of canola oil and then sauté onions and garlic until aromatic.

Then add the ground chicken and sauté them with the aromatics until the juice from the chicken evaporates. Then add a chicken cube. Mix until it dissolves.
Add ground black pepper and Knorr liquid seasoning. Continue to stir and cook. Then, add 2 to 3 tbsp of tomato paste. Stir to mix and then pour in the spaghetti sauce. Continue stirring until it is well-cooked.
Then turn off the stove and scoop some of the ground chicken mixture and put it in a bowl.
Leave some of the mixture in the pan, flatten it, add some white sauce, and then arrange some lasagna pasta enough to cover the sauce.
Repeat the procedure for the next layer by putting some ground chicken, then white sauce, covering with lasagna pasta, and then add some ground chicken and the white sauce.
Then, for the final layer, top with some grated cheese. I used Quick Melt and cheddar cheese. It's best to use mozzarella cheese, but it's so expensive, so I just opted for the cheaper one.
And there it is!! My first-ever lasagna pasta. I'm glad it was good and we all have full and happy tummies!!😍😋
