Estimado público, ¡bienvenidos sean a una nueva publicación! Ay, no sabes qué alivio. Terminar la jornada y que te llegue un mensaje de los panas para jugar videojuegos. Justo el combo perfecto: día largo, y la invitación a la casa de un amigo para darle unas partidas al Tekken 8. El cuento es que este juego lo teníamos medio en pausa porque los muchachos se pusieron súper serios practicando para un torneo de Tekken 7 que, de paso, lo organizó el mismo amigo que me invitó. O sea, el nivel de obsesión era real.

Llegué y el ambiente ya estaba tranquilo. Ver el Tekken 8 en la PC con esa gran calidad gráfica fue una bendición, y mi corazón gamer solo pensaba en una cosa: ¡Jun Kazama! Brothers, fue volver a casa. Con ella tengo mis combos que siempre me gustaron hacer, esa fluidez que solo te da tu Main. Me senté, escogí a Jun, y fue pura calidad. Quería probar a Armor King, mi otro Main de siempre, pero ¡No!, se nos olvidó que es DLC. Ni modo, Jun se lució por los dos.

La dinámica era la clásica: el que pierde, suelta el control. Ellos sí variaban, jugaban con sus Mains y luego con otros para variar entre personajes, pero yo seguía fiel a Jun. No sé, es que con ella los combos me salen solos, es mi extensión en el juego. Fue una noche brutal, de risas, de piques sanos y de esas partidas de volver a lo bueno después de una pausa. Total, la mejor manera de cerrar el día y demostrar que la práctica en el 7 sirvió para algo en el nuevo. Ya quiero repetir esas partidas, de verdad.

I arrived and the atmosphere was already chill. Seeing Tekken 8 on the PC with that great graphical quality was a blessing, and my gamer heart was only thinking about one thing: Jun Kazama! Brothers, it felt like coming home. With her, I have my combos that I always loved doing, that fluidity that only your Main gives you. I sat down, chose Jun, and it was pure quality. I wanted to try Armor King, my other long-time Main, but nope! We forgot he's DLC. No worries, Jun shone for both of us.

The dynamic was classic: the one who loses, drops the controller. They did switch it up, playing with their Mains and then with others to vary the characters, but I stayed loyal to Jun. I don't know, it's just that with her the combos come out naturally, she's my extension in the game. It was a brutal night—full of laughs, friendly rivalry, and those matches that feel like returning to something good after a break. All in all, the best way to wrap up the day and prove that the practice in 7 served a purpose in the new one. I truly can't wait to play those rounds again.
