Das LOLZ Project auf HIVE ist nicht einfach nur ein klassischer MEME-Token, sondern eine Kombination aus Community-Engagement, Humor und Layer2. Ziel ist es, Lachen und positive Interaktionen in der Hive-Community zu fördern – mit einem klaren Anreiz: Wer mitmacht, kann echte Tokens verdienen, einsetzen und daraus passives Einkommen generieren. Anders als viele „Spaßcoins“, die oft nur für ein Meme-Hype da sind, hat LOLZ Mechanismen eingebaut, die für langfristige Nutzung und einen Mehrwert im Ökosystem sorgen. Das Projekt verknüpft Witze und Humor mit ökonomischen Belohnungen – eine seltene Mischung auf der Blockchain.
Der LOLZ-Token ist ein Engagement-Token mit einer Maximalversorgung von 9.000.000.000.000 Tokens (lt. Hive Engine) oder 1 Trillionen (lt. Internetseite). Jeder Token kann auf acht Nachkommastellen aufgeteilt werden. Das Mining erfolgt nicht durch Rechenleistung oder klassische Proof-of-Work-Methoden, sondern durch Interaktion: Durch Humor.
Um einen Token zu „minen“, muss ein Hive-Nutzer in einem Kommentar den Befehl !LOL oder !LOLZ schreiben. Der Lolzbot verdendet 1 $LOLZ und gleichzeitig einen sauberen, lustigen Witz an den Empfänger des Kommentars. Es besteht auch die Möglichkeit die Komandos auf deutsch auszuführen, die aktuellen Befehle dafür habe ich aber nicht im Kopf. Ich meine es war LOOL (aber ich bin definitiv nicht sicher).
Das Prinzip dahinter wird intern oft als „Proof of Humor“ bezeichnet – nur wer aktiv interagiert und Humor fördert, produziert neue Token im Umlauf.
Diese Art des Minings macht LOLZ zu einem „Gamified Token“, bei dem sich der Wert nicht nur aus Seltenheit, sondern auch aus sozialem Engagement speist.
Um Spam zu verhindern und den Tokenfluss zu steuern, hat LOLZ ein Level-System eingebaut:
Je mehr LOLZ-Token ein Nutzer gestaked hält, desto mehr Mining-Aktionen (also !LOL/!LOLZ-Kommandos) darf er pro Tag durchführen.
Diese Level schaffen einen Anreiz, Token zu halten und zu staken, statt sie nur kurzfristig zu verkaufen.
Zusätzlich fließen 5 % aller neu geminten Tokens monatlich an das Entwicklerteam – nicht als reiner Gewinn, sondern um die Infrastruktur, Weiterentwicklung und Wettbewerbe zu finanzieren. Wettbewerbe sind ein weiterer Teil des Projekts, bei dem Nutzer zusätzliche LOLZ-Token gewinnen können, oft für besonders kreative Witze oder hohe Aktivität.

LOLZ bietet neben dem Spaßfaktor auch klassische DeFi-Möglichkeiten:
Farming durch Delegation: Nutzer können ihre Hive Power (HP) oder andere Hive-basierte Token an den offiziellen LOLZ-Curation-Bot delegieren. Dieser kuratiert Beiträge, verteilt LOLZ-Token und generiert Hive-Erträge, die an die Delegatoren zurückgehen.
Passives Einkommen: Durch diese Delegation können jährliche Erträge von bis zu 10 % APR erzielt werden – zuzüglich der LOLZ-Token, die als Bonus ausgeschüttet werden.
Ein besonderes Highlight ist das Dividendensystem:

Der Effekt: Wer LOLZ in großem Umfang staked, wird direkt am Wachstum und Erfolg des Projekts beteiligt. So entsteht ein Kreislauf, in dem Engagement, Token-Halten und Community-Wachstum sich gegenseitig verstärken.
Nicht zu vergessen ist natürlich der LOLZ-Burner. Dabei wird in täglichen Posts LOLZ gemint um es zu verbrennen. Damit wird die Anzahl der tatsächlich in Umlauf befindlichen Token weiter reduziert. Somit wird das gesamte Ökosystem angekurbelt.
Wie ihr merkt, das LOLZ Ökosystem ist deutlich komplexer, als es auf den ersten Blick scheint. Meiner Meinung nach handelt es sich um ein sehr gelungenes Projekt. Insbesondere durch die geringen Einstiegshürden war dies einer der ersten Token auf HIVE, die ich aktiv mit benutzen konnte. Deswegen benutze ich auch aktuell diesen Befehl sehr sehr gerne um ein kleines Lächeln zu erzeugen.

The LOLZ token is an engagement token with a maximum supply of 9,000,000,000,000 tokens (according to Hive Engine) or 1 trillion (according to the website). Each token can be divided into eight decimal places. Mining is not done through computing power or classic proof-of-work methods, but through interaction: through humor.
To “mine” a token, a Hive user must write the command !LOL or !LOLZ in a comment. The Lolzbot spends 1 $LOLZ and simultaneously sends a clean, funny joke to the recipient of the comment. It is also possible to execute the commands in German, but I don't have the current commands for that in my head. I think it was LOOL (but I'm definitely not sure).
The principle behind this is often referred to internally as “proof of humor” – only those who actively interact and promote humor produce new tokens in circulation.
This type of mining makes LOLZ a “gamified token,” whose value is derived not only from rarity but also from social engagement.
To prevent spam and control the flow of tokens, LOLZ has incorporated a level system:
The more LOLZ tokens a user has staked, the more mining actions (i.e., !LOL/!LOLZ commands) they are allowed to perform per day.
These levels create an incentive to hold and stake tokens instead of just selling them in the short term.
In addition, 5% of all newly mined tokens go to the development team each month – not as pure profit, but to finance infrastructure, further development, and competitions. Competitions are another part of the project where users can win additional LOLZ tokens, often for particularly creative jokes or high activity.

As you can see, the LOLZ ecosystem is much more complex than it appears at first glance. In my opinion, it is a very successful project. Due to the low barriers to entry, it was one of the first tokens on HIVE that I was able to actively use. That's why I currently enjoy using this command to bring a little smile to people's faces.
