Hope of returning - watercolors on paper

Hello to all my dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I return to share my favorite subject, the stormy sea. This time I have depicted a seascape where the protagonist is a small fishing boat at the mercy of the waves. At the bottom left, I have depicted the coveted land that represents salvation. Who knows how many times poor fishermen have found themselves in the middle of a storm. To reinforce the concept of hope, I painted a bright patch in the sky where light filters through. I used the gray color of the sea with dark waves to highlight the light coming from the bottom of the painting.  detail I hope you like my watercolor painting. Speranza di tornare - acquarelli su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi torno a condividere il mio soggetto preferito, il mare in burrasca. Questa volta ho rappresentato un paesaggio marino dove il protagonista è una piccola barca da pesca in balia delle onde. Sul fondo a sinistra ho raffigurato l'ambita terra che rappresenta la salvezza. Chissà quante volte dei poveri pescatori si sono trovati nel mezzo di una tempesta. A rafforzare il concetto di speranza ho dipinto uno squarcio chiaro nel cielo da dove filtra la luce. Il colore grigio del mare con le onde scure l'ho fatto per far risaltare la luce proveniente dal fondo del quadro.
