Lights after the storm - watercolors on paper

Hello everyone, dear Hivers friends, and welcome back to my blog. Today I'm back to share a watercolor depicting my favorite subject, the seascape. I felt the need to represent a glimpse of the rough sea with lights and shadows interacting with each other. On the left, I depicted a small glimpse of houses with a lighthouse illuminated by light coming from the sky on the right. I wanted to highlight the sky and the sea in a play of movement and light that would remind us of the seascape after the storm. I hope you like my watercolor painting. Luci dopo la tempesta - acquarelli su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi torno a condividere un acquarello che ritrae il mio soggetto preferito, il paesaggio marino. Ho sentito l'esigenza di rappresentare uno scorcio di mare agitato con luci e ombre che interagiscono tra loro. Sulla sinistra ho raffigurato un piccolo scorcio di case con un faro illuminati da una luce proveniente dal cielo a destra. Ho voluto mettere in risalto il cielo e il mare in un gioco di movimenti e luce che ci ricordassero il paesaggio marino dopo la tempesta.
