Hello dearest Steemians.
Today I share an oil work on canvas, the result of memories of one of my trips to Greece, in the Cyclades Islands.
The sea has a multitude of reflections and colors and I have tried to represent them in this seascape. At our sight a small seaside village is very pleasant, We admire him for its simplicity and its constructions on the water. The sea is the support plan of houses and boats.
I wanted to paint a landscape with oil technique on canvas, where these chromatic features blend.
The large doughs of oil painting allow overlays of dense color, to obtain reflections and strong lights.
Unlike the watercolor technique, in oil painting I can add color on other colors, overlapping ringing tones.
I can add white or other light colors with the spatula or brush.
The result is a myriad of vibrant colors, becoming a play of reflections and lights.
I have transposed on the canvas the Serbian memories of this Mediterranean seaside village, of Greece,
The result is this.

Luci e colori del mare
Ciao carissimi Steemians.
Oggi condivido un lavoro ad olio su tela, frutto di ricordi di uno dei miei viaggi in Grecia, nelle isole Cicladi.
Il mare ha una moltitudine di riflessi e colori ed io ho cercato di rappresentarli in questo paesaggio marino. Alla nostra vista un piccolo borgo marinaro risulta molto gradevole, Lo ammiriamo per la sua semplicità e le sue costruzioni sull'acqua. Il mare è il piano di appoggio delle case e delle barche.
Ho voluto dipingere un paesaggio con la tecnica ad olio su tela, dove si fondono queste caratteristiche cromatiche.
I grossi impasti della pittura ad olio permettono sovrapposizioni di colore denso, di ottenere riflessi e luci forti.
Al contrario della tecnica dell'acquarello, nella pittura ad olio posso aggiungere colore su altri colori, sovrapponendo toni squillanti.
Posso aggiungere il bianco o altri colori chiari con la spatola o il pennello.
Il risultato è una miriade di colori che vibrano, diventando un gioco di riflessi e luci.
Ho trasposto sulla tela i ricordi serbati di questo borgo marinaro mediterraneo, della Grecia,
