Tales of the sky - watercolors on paper

Hello everyone dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today again I am staying on my favorite theme, seascapes, and this time I have turned to classical landscape in the style of the English watercolorists of the 1800s of which I am very fond.
I wanted to depict the sky as the protagonsite where the clouds on the left side of the painting portend the arrival of bad weather. The beach is deserted and the boats are on dry land safe from the possible arrival of the storm.
The colors of the sea and sky represent to us a day where the weather changes abruptly.

Racconti del cielo - acquarelli su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Anche oggi resto sul mio tema preferito, il paesaggio marino, e questa volta mi sono dedicato al paesaggio classico sullo stile degli acquarellisti inglesi del 1800 dei quali sono veramente appassionato.
Ho voluto rappresentare il cielo come protagonsita dove le nuvole sulla sinistra del quadro lasciano presagire l'arrivo del brutto tempo. La spiaggia è deserta e le barche sono in secca al sicuro dal possibile arrivo del temporale.
I colori del mare e del cielo ci rappresentano una giornata dove il meteo cambia repentinamente.
