The abandoned stone fort - watercolors on paper
Hello everyone, dear Hivers friends, and welcome back to my blog. Today I continue with the series of watercolors I painted during my trip to the Tremiti Islands in the Adriatic Sea. During an excursion on a promontory, I discovered this old abandoned stone fort that struck me for the light-colored stones with which it was built.
I wanted to highlight the light and magic of the place, rich in Mediterranean scrub, using cobalt blue and shades of color to give it light.
I tried to create within the landscape I painted the fascinating atmosphere of abandoned places, but also the vivid colors of the sea and the Aleppi.

Il fortino di pietra abbandonato - acquarelli su carta
Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Anche oggi continuo con la serie di acquarelli che ho dipinto durante il mio viaggio alle isole Tremiti nel mare Adriatico. Durante un'escusione su un promontorio ho scoperto questo vecchio fortino di pietra abbandonato che mi ha colpito per le pietre chiare con cui è stato costruito. Ho voluto mettere in risalto la luce e la magia del posto, ricco di macchia mediterranea, usando il blu cobalto e sfumature di colore per dare la luce.
Ho cercato di creare all'interno del paesaggio che ho dipinto l'atmosfera affascinante dei luoghi abbanconati, ma anche i colori vivi del mare e degli Aleppi.
