My concert at Jupiter Bar

 Since I came to Hive I showed not only my talents dedicated to documentary photography and puppetry. I am also a musician with more than 15 years of career. I have dedicated a great part of my ingenuity to write songs that tell love stories linked to nature, I also have songs that touch sensitive issues in Venezuela today, social problems that have accompanied us for decades and today are stronger than ever, triggering one of the unprecedented migration crisis.  I am sure that if you are an artist in Venezuela you know what I mean. Making music in Venezuela in this context of persecution for speaking your mind is difficult. Yet I have been encouraged to sing without fear of censorship. So this was my experience at the beginning of my small local tour where I am playing some social criticism songs. **My presentation in Jupiter** I have new alter ego that helped me design @cvnuitter it's about a retired Caribbean punk cockerel. The story is simple a punk rooster that after fighting against the state retired to a beach in the caribbean sea to rest. The point is that there are still injustices and the rooster has risen from his hammock to return to the stage to fight with songs the bad things that happen in society.  This presentation was thanks to some comments I left on the venue's Instagram where I expressed that I wanted to play there. The place is a former race betting place. **Clothing and aesthetics** For this presentation I wore a t-shirt with the punk rooster that is thanks to @cvnuitter and the diversity of pixel art designs of the brand Nouns accompanied with the mythical glasses that he used in each presentation. A distinctive way of seeing the world. My haircut is a punk mohican style. This encapsulates everything I want to express and for others to see.  **An unexpected band configuration** For some time now I have had a hard time getting people to accompany me on these adventures. Just for this day I did not count on the presence of the drummer and guitarist who after this presentation did not accompany me anymore.  So the bass player and a great friend who does beatboxing were the band with me playing guitar and vocals. The idea went very well and was a success. Something unusual but I came up with it on the fly. Already in the past @manuelmusic who I know thanks to Hive accompanied me in the recording of several videos with him beatboxing and me playing and singing. Maybe this configuration will happen again.   **Uncertain future** I have been rethinking whether to continue making socially critical songs just because I am afraid of persecution from the state. Recently there have been thousands of arrests in Venezuela due to political stances contrary to the government. It is difficult to express yourself in a country where there are restrictions. This space can be safe but there is also risk. I would like to make a NFT or Hive collection of my production.
