It seems to be my 5th anniversary on the ole Hive Blockchain...add 3 years before that when it was steemit.
I'd say I've been pulling my weight. Each time I post, it's a well thought out blog often with comics and sneak previews. I always do my best to post something entertaining, interesting, worth reading. All at a high professional level. Because...I'm a professional. I write and illustrate for a living. Mad Magazine, Image comics, Cartoons on Comedy Cental, work translated into three languages, distributed all over the globe...award nominations in the U.S. and Europe.
The blogs I put here reflect that level of skill.
Let's take a look at the results of the latest blog and dig into them just a tad.

Hmm...
That's been pretty much the norm since I've been here. A whole lot of votes and ...about 4HBD into my pocket. It's pretty clear the whales don't find any value in what I bring to the table.
Smart though they may be, they have...this entire time...remained oblivious to the pattern of whenever HIVE grows it is due to interest in some creative entitiy bringing something to the blockchain... splinterlands comes to mind. One would think they'd take a smart pill and start putting their weight behind whatever creatives are here to encourage them and others, to bring more creative endevors and projects on board.
But it's been 3 (8) years and I've not observed that to be thier policy. Not for me and not for others who bring thier creative talents and skills here.
I've seen creatives get discouraged and leave, I've brought pro creatives here who got discouraged and left. Five/eight years ago this was a stand out benificial platform, but time moves on and creatives are getting thier extra reveue for creating content with substack and patreon. and instead of a cool place to find pros intersted in free speach posting work that they can't post elsewhere...it's abscent of that.
I've been here for a good amount of time and the last blog getting the most vote per day is clear evidence that the whale's have had every oppurtinity to see my blogs and support them. They have chosen not to, as they have chosen not to support to others, who have brough high quality content here.
