You must agree with me, that Lily pad paintings have been a fascination, all over the world, for centuries.

Following an obsession:

Always wanted to paint an oil painting of lilies, and so when on holiday I came across this little dam on a farm in Kendal, East Rand, Transvaal, I said to myself, this is my chance to make a really big painting.
