Some woods are a dangerous place, others aren't. These woods are only dangerous if you mean the midnight deer ill. Referred to as the midnight visitor this spirte leaves glowing tracks in the woods that lead to a cabin. For those who are lost it's safety. For those scared, it's comfort. For those hunted it's safety. For those hunting it's a trap. A door once opened won't open again.
And now the process.
I wanted to create a sense of a depth with the trees and with the path.
Then I added the cabin. It took me a few tries to get the right shape/colours. I decided to go with a silvery blue because I wanted to do the lighting for the whole work in it. Their currently purple but that'll change later.
I changed the colour of the high lights, and adjusted the trees some in shape and I wanted them darker since it's supposed to look dark/night time.
I'm actully really enjoying how this is turning out now.
I added some extra shadeing/highlights and a subtle highlight of the path.
I then started working on the figure of the spirte.
I kinda felt like I over drew the spirit cause there's to many lines ><
Yes it does have big eyes.
From there I just tweaked the trees a little more and messing around with the spirte.
And were done. Overall pretty happy with it.
