American Pekin
.
Pekin Ducks have pure white feathers with orange legs and bills. The American Pekin is sometimes kept for fancy and showing. Show birds are often larger than commercial production stock.
Pekins lay up to 200 eggs per year. The eggs may be white or tinted, and weigh approximately 90 grams (3.2 oz).American Pekin ducks have little tendency to broodiness – they are not good sitters, and eggs may need to be artificially incubated.
