Heyyy yooooo what's up Splinter Player around the Praetoria how are you doing? In this content i want to share about my favourite combo in Modern Recently. I dont know why but looking the gameplay is really satisfying to look. Its called armory gameplay. Combination attack from Armor damage and Melee damage. This strategy can be super lethal since the damage is really destructive. But, this combo wombo can be defeated by Combination of Cryptic, Shade, and Jicarilla. But, it can be really good if i have Leolin Sifu since Leolin Sifu having True Strike ability that will make never missing any attack. But, overall this Armory play is really satisfying and really enjoy to look.


What makes the armory gameplay really destructive is because this ability Armored Strike
If Armored, gains a physical attack that deals damage equal to remaining armor.
With this it will depending with the total armor that the unit have and if having Armored Strike ability, it will crushing the defender. But, sometimes this ability will having kind of weakness that is the accuracy. Thats why i already told that if only i have Leolin Sifu that having True Strike ability. It could be a perfect combo wombo. Especially when confront with Cryptic army that depends on the speed and miss.

The ability that really support for this strategy is Protect
+2 Armor to all allied units.
With this especially when can bring 2 unit that having this ability, it could adding more damage to the unit that carry Armored Strike ability. And not only for defend but also for attack. So, lets see the strategy by watching the real battle shall we.

If you guys want to look the battle you can just click on the image above. In this battle I using different method since i am aware that m Water army is not enough for supporting Cryptic. Many piece was missing on my deck, thats why i am preferring using Elias Max Pruitt recently since i already maxed out some common of Conclave Arcana sets. And thats really helpful for making Elias Max Pruitt strategy line up stronger. This battle have 3 ruleset. The first ruleset is the ruleset that i hate that is Heavy Metal that means Both Player can only use armored units. The second ruleset is Counterspell that means all unit will having magic reflect ability. And the last but not least is Manouvers that means all unit will have reach ability. Mana that we can used in this battle is 43 which is kinda low average. And the only element that cannot be used in this battle is Dragon element. And this is my line up for this battle
This time i am using Elias and want to using Armory gameplay especially the ruleset is Heavy metal which is we are only can using unit that having armor. So, playing Elias in this battle kinda fit and compatible with the ruleset. And also the element is kinda perfect too. Many unit having armor on Water and Life element.
For frontline tanker i usually using Silverblade Fighter since this unit having pretty huge armor and also this unit having Protect ability that can support the armory strike damage. And since having Void Armor any magic damage will broke the armor first. And with flank the second non reach unit can attack. But, since the ruleset is Manouvers, so all the melee that does not have reach will got reach.
The second unit of course the carry of my line up that is Commander Slade with high speed, huge melee damage, and huge armor. This unit is really suitable as my team carry.
Next i am bringing Nimbledook Explorer just to increase my Commander Slade armor. And also with the armor increased the defence will be up and my Commander Slade attack will increase too. And it will be super destructive right. Other that that this unit can throwing his armor since this unit also have Armored Strike too after my Commander Slade goes to frontline. With the manouvers ability this unit will have reach ability too.
Next i am bringing Olivia of the Brook. this is my second option carry on my line up. She will steal some of the ability that opponent line up have. So, this unit can grow stronger overtime. But, since this unit does not have defence ability, it really depending on the ability that she will steal.
And the last is i am using Calabash Sage. This unit kinda pretty though for backline tanker since this unit having shield ability. And also this unit can be a good support for entire team since having tank heal ability. And also this unit having 5 range damage. Even though this unit only have 1 speed but this unit cannot missing any attack since having True Strike ability.

So, how about the battle? In this battle i am really lucky because my Commander Slade can hit opponent Commander Slade. But, if my Commander Slade missing the first attack i believe in 2nd round or 3rd round opponent commander slade will be defeated since i am bringing Calabash Sage that having true strike ability. Only need one more touch from my Commander Slade too can defeat opponent Commander Slade. And Cryptic combo is kinda weak after Commander Slade defeated since they will not provide the second tanker anymore. Meanwhile my line up preparing 2 carry in this battle. But,if you look the battle my victory is just pure luck. Sometimes the RNG is programmed in certain hour your RNG is really something even the impossible feels like possible and in certain hour, it will be vice versa. Same with the ruleset. It is not trully Random Generator but it programmed one. But thats normal i guess.
