Heyyy yooooo what's up Splinter Player around the Praetoria how are you doing? In this content i want to share the topic from @splinterlands weekly community challenge about Unsung Heroes. Sometimes after founding new meta we are kinda forget there are more underrated unit that actually pretty good when can utilize it in the battlefield. But, breaking down and trying many loses until founding the great line up fro the underrated unit is not easy at all. Luckily i am still on Diamond League this season. But, still i made a mistake that i accidently touching 3700 rating once. It should be not touching Champion at all. But, lets see how it goes for the next season. But i prefer staying on Diamond since my card is incompetent in Champion level actually. Thats why i can found this underrated unit that usually i used in Diamond League just because i am lack of cards choices.
As you can see this Buttercup Mauler is Fey bloodline and common rarity with costing 5 mana (Which is pretty good and average for attacker or even low cost) and when maxed level this card having 5 melee damage. Sounds good right? Not only that this unit also having 6 health and 4 speed. Most similar with Isgald Vorst from water element but Gladius set card. The ability makes the huge different but still can be really good for battle because Buttercup Mauler having Sneak ability and the crucial one is since she is Melee Fighter she having Deflect ability that can make all back damage except backfire null damage. So, thorns and blast will not effected to this unit. Then this unit having Reveal ability that cna exposed any unit that having camouflage ability. So they cannot hiding anymore. And the last this unit can camouflage. That makes this unit trully scary in the battlefield. As you know recently i maxed this unit since this unit can be really great in battlefield. I used a lot in Diamond league but not when battling againts high end player since this Buttercup Mauler kinda not Meta with complete deck. But for player that having limited deck that does not having promo cards, or even legendary cards, using Buttercup Mauler is kinda effective.

Since the ruleset is Lost Magic that can make both player cannot using any magic type attack in battle then the second ruleset is Close Range that can make any range unit can attack even though placed in the first place. And the last is Maneuvers that will make all melee unit will having reach ability that can attack from the second position. And since both player cannot using magic type attack. My choice will be totality attack using Armor the combination with Elias Max Pruitt or playing Defence using Tofu. And this time i am prefer using Tofu. If you look into the element ruleset, using EMP will still lack of Water element which in the water element there are many great attacker. Meanwhile for defence position like Eternal Tofu will be superior in this ruleset. But, back again different collection will make different decision. Meanwhile me, using what the best line up in my deck. My strategy here is just make sure all opponent Melee attacker will be suffered by thorns damage. And also i am bring Buttercup Mauler that utilize the Deflect ability to counter if the opponent using Eternal Tofu too. In this battle maybe i am lost due the complete set deck, he is having Mantaroth and Venka together. Wonder why he still stuck in Diamond League. And because of the deflect ability and also high melee damage makes my Buttercup Mauler can defeated from behind. And my line up focusing on totally healing from tank Heal that comes from Satha Toledo and i gives Triage and Scavenger ability to Buttercup Mauler. And the great defend goes to Bera Dallin and Armor Play by Silverblade Fighter. So the enemy will hardly to beat my line up meanwhile my Buttercup Mauler can got free hit everyturn if not miss.
Sadly the second battle that i found is battling againts liquidity bots. Yeah because of this bots that makes this games is underrated as well. If only all bots forbidden in this game maybe this game can be great by now. Sadly it will be impossible for right now since many whale of this game still refuse with banned all bots in this game. But, back again it is what it is. As long as my assets can grow up i dont care too much. And in the second battle what make crutial is the ruleset Up Close & Personal that make both player can only bringing melee units only or if the dual attack contain melee type damage it still can be used in the battlefield. And this time i am using the best Archon that played with this Ruleset that is Eternal Tofu that will gives thorns ability to all ally units. That will make all opponent will get back damage as long as they dont using any Deflect ability unit monster. And in this battle i am bringing 3 unit that having Deflect ability that is Endless Ape as my Frontline Tanker, Olivia of The Brook as the second carry. And Buttercup Mauler as first carry in my line up. And since i am bringing Olivia of the Brook i pick Olivia that carry using Scavenger ability and triage ability. And yes because having thorns ability it will make this game kinda easier. But, what makes super easy because this bot only using archon that level 3 and will make his Zyrx not having Bloodlust ability. That will save me in this battle. If only this bot bringing maxed archon maybe i will lose the battle. However, we still can never underestimated Buttercup Mauler. Especially until right now there are still never know the archon that can focused on Fey bloodline yet. Who knows this unit can be so broken in the future.
