Heyyy yooooo what's up Splinter Player around the Praetoria how are you doing? In this content i want to share the topic from @splinterlands weekly community challenge about Unsung Heroes. But, i think for this one people already aware that this common monster sometimes is really usefull especially to break in meta recently. This unit is called Calabash Sage. The common unit from Life element with Ulund Bloodline. The second Conclave unit that i maxed. I knew that this unit will be really helpfull in my line up.
Calabash Sage Ulund Bloodline Common rarity Life element. Costing 10 mana with 8 health 3 armor 5 range damage and 1 speed. Yep this unit is really slow maybe the slowest in Ulund that having attack, This units is really unique for me since this unit is having 1 Speed. But, turns out that its having best ability i guess that will make this unit having a huge package for just common. Shield ability that will reduce the damage from melee and Range unit. Tank Heal that will healing frontliner. And the important one is True Strike that will always hit no matter what. So, it will ignore the speed. And with this ability it cna break Blindness meta from Cryptic. Slade + Jicarilla is surely hard to get hit. But with aim true it will be easy to take down opponent Slade. So, their strategy will broken. And not to mention this unit can be really tanky if the ruleset cannot bring any magic damage since this unit having shield ability. It really hard to beat this unit especially having tank heal. And as you might know when having 1 speed. The best ruleset is Reverse speed. It would make this unit be the fastest and super tanky and deadly.
This is the example battles that i am using Calabash Sage, The ruleset is Might Makes Rights that means both player can only using unit that having attack e or above. The second ruleset is Aim True that means all unit will have the true strike ability. So this battle is surelly cannot miss at all. The thirs ruleset is Equal Opportunity that means all unit will having opportunity ability. So that means this battle will hunting the weakest first unless using taunt ability units monster. In this battle i am using Bera Dallin as taunter unit to make all opponent unit will focusing attacking Bera. And then for the second liner and third liner i am using as filler unit in order to hide my carry that is Commander Slade. Anyway in this battle i am using Elias Max Pruit as my archon and i want playing armor damage in this battle. Behind Commander Slade i am using Calabash Sage and the last is Commander Goff. In this battle The damage from my Commander Slade is kinda huge and since opponent did not bring any taunt unit monster so with just single blow my Slade can defeated 2 of opponent units. But back again in this battle even though Slade is the main carry but still Calabash Sage giving huge damage each turn that is 5 range damage.
In battle example 2 i am still using Elias Max Pruitt as archons but with different line up. But before that this is the best ruleset for Calabash Sage. The first ruleset is What Doesn't Kill You that means all units will having Enrage ability. The second ruleset that really fit with Calabash Sage that is Reverse Speed that means the slowest unit will be the fastest one. And the last ruleset is Weak Magic that means all magic damage will attacking armor first before hit the health. And in this battle I am using Thanalorian Scion as my carry. Kinda scarry but i think she can handle and gives huge damage first before defeated since her armor is already savage. Luckily in this battle my Calabash Sage as the promotor that leading the damage and open the chance to hit the health since the armor already broken by Calabash Sage attack. and since this is battle for the slowest and my line up are mostly the slowest one. It will be super easy to beat up the opponent since my line up is the fastest one here. If you want to see the battle just click on the picture it will lead you into the battlefield.
