Hi, I am Arveno from Surabaya city. In this content i want to share when we are going accompany my wife in Singapore National Academy. Actually I dont want to be here. But, like i said in the content before that my wife services is needed by her school to preparing her kids to competition in Singapore National Academy. Thats why she need to be here. And i dont want her to ride a uber, thats why i accompany her even though i dont like to be there since i dont know what to do inside and i cannot understand what they are talking about (FYI : I am Chinese but cannot speak Chinese at all).
This school is located far away from my home. It took around 1 hour trip until arrive when in Sunday which is mostly people having holiday. And yet my wife still need to work. Fortunately at Sunday the rain is not coming. So, we are not get wet at all until we reaching this place. The sky is cloudy though. The rain can happen at any time soon.
My first impression about this place is huge. And then it looks like old building. Inside is like usual school. Neat and clean. But, for this competition event i think they are not prepared fully. Since the sign is really small and i even dont know where to go. And the security seems lazy to show the way too.
after searching here and there we found the place that held this competition. This hall is really huge. And i think this is Basketball field that have multifunction as hall too.
Then my wife ask me and my son to find out chair for sit first. Then she told me to just look the event and take care of my son. I know what her mean. It mean this event will be very boring and my son started to act strange like usual kid when bored. I already said to my son. He can go anywhere and search for friends here but never follow strange people if asking him to go out of this place. It could be really dangerous.
And yes i really dont know what they are talking about. They are using Chinese language. What can i do is just see their performance without understanding what the point and watching my son.
I dont know what my wife doing right now. Now she is vanished and taking care kids that want to perform maybe. Me and my son started bored after seeing 20 minutes of this performance. And my son starting to act out and starting to going anywhere come back and going again.
But, there is one performance that really fun and cool that is mask dance performance. That the performer can change the mask really quick. And it is like magic and it is real. I still dont know how the mechanism of it. Since the mask can change. Even the performer can take off the mask and wear it again in just below 1 second. It is so fast. And yeah since i am amazed with his performance, i dont take any picture about his performance. And this event is around 1,5 hours. After that the event closed by announcing the winner of the event. After that they are taking some picture and my wife included too. Then we are going home. It feels like the trip is longer than the event in there. I am really tired not being there but i am tired after the long trip. Maybe i am too old to having trip that further than usual.
