Heyyy yooooo what's up Splinter Player around the Praetoria how are you doing? In this content i want to share about Kelan Gaines. The Promo card that really Overpowered recently. As you know that in this games OP cards always in demand on both Rent and Buy. Renting this card is really hard. I need to war with bot every season if want to rent this unit. And always lose. Either will be renting with super high price or even the rent liquidity card is gone. And if you guys on Secondary Market, not many people selling this card. There is just 29 BCX in total that sell (Regular Foil). It cannot make it max level if just 29 BCX. So, this is sign that this card is really needed. But, many players already have it now. I dont know they are owned it or using bot to get the cheapest and fastest in rent market. SInce i saw many player using this card in Diamond League.
Using this unit in battlefield is not too hard. The first thing that we need to do is make sure this unit covered by tank and attacking the first non melee unit right on target since this card having Snipe ability and also having Double Strike ability. So this unit will attacking twice. And for defence. This unit having Phase ability that having chance to dodge any magic type attack. And having backfire ability that will make the attacker got damage after missing attacking this unit. And his Speed is 6 which is pretty fast so it will make higher chance to dodge magic attack. This unit weakness is the magic attack just 3 damage. If bringing 2 silence unit, Kelan will be weak unit since only having 1 magic damage only.
If you guys want to look the battle you can just click on the image above. In this battle I want to share the different between bringing Kelan Gaines with not bring it in into the battlefield. The ruleset itself is kinda tricky. Lets break down the ruleset of this battle. The first ruleset is Heavy Hitters that means all unit will having Knockout ability that will make double the attack if the opponent stunned. The second ruleset is Weak Magic that means all magic type damage will attack the armor first before reduce the health. The last but not least is No Pain, No Gain This ruleset is really new!!! This ruleset will make all unit will get Painforge ability that will make all unit got attack buff after got Poison, Burn, Zap,etc effect. The manacap that can be used in this battle is 46 which is pretty average nowdays. And the only element that cannot be used in this battle is Water element. So, this is my line up. But, my line up is kinda weird since my deck cards is not complete right now and i dont rent much cards.
Mostly when using Kelan Gaines, it is always partnered with Lorkus as summoner since Kelan Gaines is Magic type attack and Lorkus giving 1 melee and magic damage 1 buff. And also can gives to 2 units either Life Leech and Affliction or Trample and Fury.
For the tanker i am using Ujurak Brave, the rebelion reward cards. This unit having Immunity ability that can resist all negative damage to this unit. And also this unit having Silence ability too. Thats will make opponent line up losing 1 magic damage.
The second line up is Fenmoor Haunt, i am using this unit because this unit only cost me 3 mana which is not too much. Also this unit having Void ability and Scavenger ability. So, while waiting the frontline tanker died this unit can sneak up attacking the backline unit first. And if any other unit died this unit will more powerful and tanky since having scavenger ability.
The next line up is I am bringing Barashkukor the huge mana capacity in this battle field that costing 13 mana. But, this unit having really good magic damage. And also since the Forcefield ability in Modern already dissapeared. So, this unit high damage is really necessary in the battlefield.
Next i am bringing this promo card Night Stalker. This unit kinda helping my Fenmoor Haunt attack since this unit also having Sneak ability. And this unit having Blast ability that can gives the adjacent unit that targeted by this unit will get the blast damage. And also this unit will attacking once more if the opponent health less than 2 by using Execute ability.
Next is Kelan Gaines the carry on my line up, like i said above that this unit having 3 magic damage and having Double Strike ability and will attacking the non melee first unit first by Snipe ability.
The last is i still need support unit, so I am bring Arachne Weaver since this unit having Corruption Healing that will healing some health by reduce the max health. This unit can be a great tanky since having Scavenger ability that will adding max health after any unit died. And also this unit having Posion ability that having chance to gives poison stats to opponent line up.
The battle itself is kinda easy for the first round. Kelan Gaines killing the first non Melee unit first since double attack and snipe ability in one unit is kinda deadly combo. But, still the battle is kinda super strong i guess. After opponent Arachne Weaver killed by Kelan Gaines, so next will targeting opponent Inept Healer and if that can be defeated the opponent does not have any support unit at all. The opponent frontline tanker is really hard to get done. But Fortunately the Kelan Gaines attack is really on target this time so my little family won this battle.
