Yup, the title says it all. This year, I was able to celebrate the birthday of my fur babies. Though I'm not quite sure of their exact birthdays I think it won't matter that much what important is I am celebrating them and their existence.
This year marks the 2nd birthday of Sai and Chiyo. Chiyo came into my life earlier than Sai. Sai came into our lives with Ino but Ino passed away a couple of weeks when we got them. Now that I am sort of the official guardian of Sai I took the initiative to give her a birthday with Chiyo. It's not grand but we indeed did have fun just the three of us.
A month ago I thought of ordering a simple cake for them but it was out of budget for now so I opt for cute cupcakes instead. I have been ordering pastries from this supplier for a few years back and I also used them to supply pastries to one of my coffee shop clients.
The pastries are vegan so it's safe for me and for my dogs. However, I didn't realize that they can't eat chocolate. The cupcakes I ordered were vanilla and chocolate. At first, I was hesitant to feed them because I don't want to waste a cupcake but I took the risk and fed them and they liked it.
I really found the cupcakes really cute and tasty. My dogs approved of it and I did too. I had trouble taking photos of them with the cupcakes, especially with Chiyo. Sai was easy. I wasn't able to get a photo of the three of us because it's a real struggle, fur parents would know.
I never imagined myself doing these celebrations with pets but I think they deserve to be celebrated knowing how much happiness they have brought and keep bringing to my life. Do you like celebrating your fur babies' birthdays too?
