I haven’t been keeping up with my posts as Gene reminded me today. So I decided this week only I’ll combine Three Tune Tuesday & Nineties Friday. Just this one time only!
I’m picking tunes from the Smashing Pumpkins! One of the most classic Nineties bands there was! I’ll pick one song of each of there 4 nineties records!

First up it’s 1991’s Gish album! The first Smashing Pumpkins record. I pick the song “Siva“.

From the 1995 third album Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness, I pick the song Zero! This record was the biggest and it was fucking huge. With no new Nirvana albums coming the Pumkins took the king spot in alt rock. It was only down hill from here.

From the 1998 follow up it’s a song off the less popular record Adore. I pick the song “Perfect” only because Gene said he’s picking the song Adore which I like better for his upcoming post so last thing I wanna do is share and rehash songs. This album changed a lot and includes a lot of synth and less drums. Likely due to the drummer being kicked outta the band for drug use after they’d lost the touring keyboardist to an overdose.
