Helloo, espero te encuentres súper bien y que tu fin de semana esté siendo increíble! Quiero contarte que desee hace varios meses venía con una crisis emocional con mi cabello jajaj. Tenía las puntas muy maltratadas y la apariencia en sí, no me gustaba. Anhelaba como nunca cortármelo, y el miércoles por fin, se pudo dar. Después de mucho comentarle, e incluso pedirle a mi amado compañero de baile y director de Vizcaya Studio que me lo cortara (ya que también es barbero), él mismo tuvo la iniciativa la semana pasada, de llevarme a la peluquería de una de nuestras queridísimas alumnas a hacerlo realidad, aprovechando que él también se iba a hacer unas cositas.
Lo interesante de esto es que también conocí un nuevo centro comercial de mi ciudad, que queda cerca de la academia. Se llama **Concresa**. Es bastante grande, no cuenta actualmente con mucho movimiento, pero sin embargo, me gustó mucho la vibra que tiene. Y la peluquería de nuestra querida Claret también es hermosa! Ofrecen múltiples servicios y una muy buena atención. Pero bueno, referente a lo que compete este post, yo soy muy selectiva con quien me dejo tocar el cabello, y la señora María, quien me asignaron para esto, desde un inicio me inspiró confianza. Ella incluso estaba emocionada por cortármelo, jaja, le gustó mucho mi tipo de ondas.
De hecho, me hizo la propuesta de hacerme un corte mariposa (primera vez que lo escuchaba) y yo simplemente confié😅, ya que en serio quería descansar un poco del cabello extralargo. Y pues no imaginan la paz que sentí al verme libre de puntas quemadas y con un aire diferente. Le puse la intención, de dejar atrás todo eso que ya no me funciona, porque de por sí, le estaba dando la bienvenida a un **nuevo look, una nueva Ashley…** me subió el autoestima considerablemente también porque, terminé aceptando un secado para verme diferente por un día que uff, amé muchísimo... Me siento satisfecha, y en definitiva voy a mantener por una buena temporada mi cabello así corte medio, es muy cómodo.

Hello, I hope you are doing great and that your weekend is going amazingly! I want to tell you that for several months I had been going through an emotional crisis with my hair, ha ha ha. The ends were very damaged, and I didn't like the way it looked. I wanted to cut it like never before, and on Wednesday, I finally did. After talking about it a lot and even asking my beloved dance partner and director of Vizcaya Studio to cut it for me (since he's also a barber), he took the initiative last week to take me to the hair salon of one of our dearest students to make it happen, taking advantage of the fact that he was also going to get a few things done.
The interesting thing about this is that I also discovered a new shopping center in my city, which is close to the academy. It's called **Concresa**. It's quite large, not very busy at the moment, but I really liked the vibe. And our dear Claret's hair salon is also beautiful! They offer multiple services and very good customer service. But anyway, regarding the topic of this post, I am very selective about who I let touch my hair, and Mrs. María, who was assigned to me for this, inspired my confidence from the start. She was even excited to cut my hair, haha, she really liked my type of waves.
In fact, she suggested giving me a butterfly cut (the first time I'd heard of it), and I simply trusted her, as I really wanted a break from my extra-long hair. And you can't imagine the peace I felt when I saw myself free of split ends and with a different look. I made a conscious decision to leave behind everything that no longer works for me, because I was welcoming **a new look, a new Ashley...** It also boosted my self-esteem considerably because I ended up accepting a blow dry to look different for a day, which I loved so much... I feel satisfied, and I'm definitely going to keep my hair this medium length for a while, it's very comfortable.
