[pl/eng] Centrum Nauki Kopernik / Warsaw

Nasz weekend w Warszawie mieliśmy zaplanowany bardzo intensywnie i na okoliczność każdej pogody. Ta okazała się bardzo udana, ale i tak nie żałuję tego, że większość czasu spędziliśmy we wnętrzach wszelakich. Pierwszym wnętrzem, które odwiedziliśmy, było Centrum Nauki Kopernik.

We planned our weekend in Warsaw very intensively, with all kinds of weather in mind. It turned out to be a great success, but I still don't regret spending most of our time indoors. The first indoor space we visited was the Copernicus Science Centre.

CNK to spory, nowoczesny budynek. Bilety należy zakupić wcześniej, wchodzimy na umówioną godzinę. My rzecz jasna spóźniliśmy się - o minutę. Mam na myśli to, że mieliśmy bilet na 10 i powinniśmy wejść do 11, a przybyliśmy do bramki biletowej po odwiedzeniu szatni o 11.01. Bramka nas nie wpuściła i konieczne było zmienienie biletów w okienku, na szczęście bez dopłat.

The Copernicus Science Center is a large, modern building. Tickets must be purchased in advance, and we enter at the appointed time. Of course, we were late – by one minute. I mean, we had a 10:00 a.m. ticket and should have entered by 11:00 a.m., but we arrived at the ticket gate after visiting the cloakroom at 11:01 a.m. The gate wouldn't let us in, and we had to change our tickets at the ticket window, fortunately without any additional fees.

Na dzień dobry powitała nas ciekawa wystawa trucizn i jadów. Można było obejrzeć jadowite okazy oraz wystawy trucizn. Całość opatrzona ciekawymi informacjami. Fajna wystawa, ciekawa bardzo, nawet dla tych, co jeszcze nie czytają, a na widok najbardziej toksycznej żabki na świecie wołają radośnie "kum, kum".

We were greeted by an interesting exhibition of poisons and venoms. We could see poisonous specimens and displays of poisons, all accompanied by interesting information. It was a great exhibition, very interesting, even for those who haven't read it yet, and who, at the sight of the most toxic frog in the world, exclaim joyfully, "ribbit, ribbit!"

Potem była wystawa wodna. Składa się z dwóch części, od frontu - dla starszych, a za bramką w strefie bombelkowej - specjalne stanowiska dla najmłodszych. Fajna zabawa i trochę nauki. Będąc Bombelkiem, trzeba mieć dużo szczęścia, aby wyjść stamtąd suchym.

Then there was the water exhibit. It consists of two sections: the front section for older children, and behind the gate in the bubble zone, special stations for the youngest. It's great fun and a bit of learning. As a bubbler, you have to be very lucky to emerge dry.

Kolejnym stanowiskiem, które nas zatrzymało na dobrą chwilę, była dmuchawa. Dmuchała ona w górę takie fajne kolorowe firany. Należało ją złapać, gdy opadała, i rzucić na środek okręgu, a następnie podziwiać fantazyjne kształty, jakie przybierała pod sufitem.

Another station that stopped us in our tracks was the blower. It blew up these cool, colorful curtains. We had to catch it as it fell and throw it into the center of the circle, then admire the fanciful shapes it formed near the ceiling.

No i docieramy do sfery naukowo-nowoczesnej, pełnej robotów, komputerów, maszyn.

And so we reach the scientific-modern sphere, full of robots, computers, machines.

Dużo ciekawostek było też ze świata medycyny i ciała człowieka.

There were also many interesting facts from the world of medicine and the human body.

Nie zabrakło słynnego robopsa i galerii memów.

There was also the famous robodog and a meme gallery.

To wszystko jednak nic, bo najlepsza zabawa zaczęła się na pierwszym piętrze. Było tam parę fajnych stanowisk sportowych - do mierzenia skoku i rozciągania, podciągnięć itp. Najlepsze zaś były stanowiska manualne, z zagadkami logicznymi, układankami itp. Bombla zaś najbardziej na świecie zachwyciła piaskownica, gdzie tworząc górki i doliny kreowaliśmy ziemię, bo piasek natychmiast przybierał adekwatny kolor - góry, nizin lub wody.

All that was nothing, though, because the real fun began on the first floor. There were a few cool sports stations there – for measuring jumps and stretches, pull-ups, etc. The best were the manual stations, with logic puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, etc. Bombla, on the other hand, was most impressed by the sandbox, where we created hills and valleys, creating the earth, as the sand immediately took on the appropriate color – mountains, lowlands, or water.

Szczerze mówiąc, to jest to najfajniejsze chyba dla dzieci w wieku szkolnym, nasze dzieci jeszcze za małe, ale wciąż: zabawy było co niemiara i nikt z nas się tam nie nudził.

Honestly, this is probably the coolest for school-age children, our children are still too young, but still: there was plenty of fun and none of us were bored there.

Dla młodych rowerzystów była też nie lada frajda: można było pedałować na rowerze i podziwiać w lustrze pedałujący szkielet.

There was also a lot of fun for young cyclists: they could pedal a bike and admire a pedaling skeleton in the mirror.

Zrobiłam zdjęcia może na jednej dziesiątej tych wszystkich atrakcji i muszę przyznać, że była tu fajna wycieczka. Niektóre zakątki były mniej ciekawe, ale to rzecz jasna, dopaminie też trzeba dać odpocząć :) pobyt jak najbardziej udany.

I took photos at maybe a tenth of all the attractions, and I have to admit, it was a fun trip. Some spots were less interesting, but that's okay, you need to give your dopamine a rest too :)
