We have reached the most magnificent point in the Angkor region. This temple have large land is about 9 kilometers, is characterized by its numerous Buddha faces located on the highest platform.
Long story short, Bayon Temple depicts a single Buddha face depicting King Jayavarman VII. A serene, charming, calm, and graceful face. This temple served as a grand temple during the Khmer Empire, which centered on Buddhist worship. But did you know that there are 216 faces on the towers of Bayon Temple? I was truly excited when I learned this information.

The Bayon Temple is vast, but unfortunately, only a few areas can be explored. Experts are underway, so you can only explore half of the grounds. However, that's a blessing, as there are some similarities from other angles.
This is a truly extraordinary masterpiece, as the stones are arranged in a way that is truly unique from other temples. The presence of many Buddha faces indicates that you're in one place: Bayon Temple.

This temple is a bit vulnerable, with some stones that are quite alarming. However, it's certainly safe if you follow the directions from the Angkor Wat management. One thing I feel while at Bayon Temple was that it really drain my energy, causing me to feel incredibly tired. I couldn't go anywhere else, and I ended up here.
Could it be because there are 216 faces? One tower can even have four faces, and if you know, there are many towers at Bayon Temple. I think I took the wrong route; I should have started at Bayon Temple and then headed towards Angkor Wat. However, I was also very happy with this route because I got to see the sunrise; I'll talk about that another time.

We took lots of photos and admired the details. Uniquely, of all the temples, Bayon was my favorite, with the most interesting details. The architectural style is truly incredibly artistic, which is why so many people love Bayon Temple, even though 50% of the restoration work is underway, which is a bit distracting.

But, for the sake of the temple's development and security, that's the best option. This legacy of history and civilization, spanning hundreds of years, must not be lost. My husband and I even took a photo, posing as a newlywed couple spending their honeymoon at a historic site.

I'm just a woman who wants to write whatever's on my mind. I really enjoy cooking, occasionally traveling, and doing whatever I like. I want to live like a bird flying freely in nature. But I know I'm only human. So, I can only write freely like a bird that can fly with its two wings.
I'm usually very interested in new things. Let me be creative with at least these writings. I welcome any suggestions, as long as you mention them politely in the comments section. We can have a free discussion every now and then.
Don't think too much of me as you see in my posts. I'm just sharing what I have, and some of it is actually quite enjoyable to post. It's just that I don't really like posting bad things. I hope we continue to work together to build this Hive community.
